    A) That wasn't related to redemption cashback,
    B) You lost,
    C) We were awarded costs, which you haven't paid (and we haven't pursued)

In fact, MSE have removed posts where you claimed to have won after we demonstrated the above, so I'm a little surprised to see you bringing this up.

    I don't think I'll be commenting further.

    NOT TRUE.

Rest assured this is a matter ongoing!

Most people would not be bothered if their cashback claim cheques took a little longer than stated. What really galls people is CPW and related Companies blatently lying to customers and even to the Courts.
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!

2 CCJs, ever, neither related to a redemption issue.

    I believe that makes 0% :)

We have seen evidence in this thread of a customer who does have grounds (fundamental breach of contract), to sue over redemption, so why make such an issue?

When is mobiles.co.uk bringing out the HTC Touch Pro2? What sort of price plan can I expect it to be on?

Also, I'm looking to upgrade; I filled out the form on your website, which says someone would contact me within 2 working days or something, and its been over 2 weeks... ;)

What kind of upgrade deals do you offer?

Anybody bought a straight contract from these guys? How did it go if yes??

    cheers

Which network? We're working on it, I'd expect it to be similar pricing to the N97.

Apologies - I'll get this looked into.

I can't answer the first question under forum rules, but I think several people have already spoken up in favour (mostly!) of us.

Wow, well I hope you're not diverting too much time browsing the forum and indeed are getting phones out to people as per agreement! That sure was a speedy reply!

I'm currently on Tmobile, but wouldn't be against changing provider assuming the deal is right and everything adds up legitimately...

With regards to the O2 600 you offer with the Touch HD, 25 a month, I heard that this is not the O2 600 at all, but an entirely different contract minus included bolt ons... care to clarify? I've also noticed one or 2 discrepancies between what O2 offer as part of their 600 plan and what you guys offer...?

See I'm very tempted by some of the offers, but its that same old adage, if it sounds too good to be true, then chances are it probably is! As a result I'm hesitating...

Also would like to hear a response to Quentin's comment above :)

PS. Also I've got a feeling that a lot of the reviews aren't what they seem? only very positive ones about the company, no complaints whatsoever by anyone.. Are they being edited perchance?

O2 themselves offer a choice of free bolt-on with O2 600, if you buy from them.

We are unable to offer this deal, if you buy O2 600 from us we do it with unlimited texts (O2 give you 500 I believe) and there is no free bolt-on available. Some customers have complained about this but their mistake is always assuming that our O2 600 and O2's own O2 600 are identical (understandable, maybe), and then claiming that we MUST honour a deal advertised on somebody else's site (not understandable, really).

To add to the confusion, O2's billing software is set up in such a way that the unlimited texts we offer appear on it as a bolt-on, so O2 Customer Services frequently tell our customers that "You have chosen the unlimited texts bolt-on" when they call to get their freebie added*.

O2 are a network and also a retailer, so it can be confusing. Orange for instance used to (still do?) give an extra 100 minutes if you buy the same tariff direct from their site, and it was still called the same thing.

Which question of Quentin's? I'm "agreeing to disagree" to the one about the cheque not arriving within the 30 days being grounds for a court case (!), as I don't feel it's a breech of our agreement with the customer in any way (and I'm confident an impartial observer would agree). It's just logistics and not the substantive part of the agreement, which is that we've paid the claimed-for cashback and 'sent' it within the timescale. I'm told cheques generally take 8 days to arrive, by the way - 28 is merely worst case.

*I can be frequently heard saying that I wish we sold washing machines instead of contract mobile phones, it would be sooooooooo much simpler :D

Certainly the spin cycle would be shorter.
