    Has she had the pains in her chest yet, or has it suddenly 'just slipped out' to your OH that you had a very close 'friendship' with someone else just under a year before one of your children was born?

    Or has she practically tied her goods and chattels up in a spotted hankie on a stick and shuffled off down the garden path, sniffing all the way?

    It'll feel less painful after the initial guilt wears off and the pure joy (of not having to put up with it any further) sinks in.
