I have to agree with mobilegossip that the question rather than the answer was rude. Needless to say it is time wasted for others to read and respond.
1. I have read the entire thread - mid way, the talk was the 0844/0845 nos could/would be charged - hence my clarification.
I think I have been on MSE.com long enough to know when I am being rude...0 -
I have began a fight with O2 CPW - they are trying to claim that 07744 numbers have always been chargeable which obviously is not true otherwise why the change notification.
They suggested that I contact O2 for advise and that I would be charged a termination fee. I told them to seek advice themselves and am now awaiting there response!0 -
cdon,
I got a call from O2 CPW customer services on Friday stating that he had liaised with a supervisor and that I could cancel without penalty. He even gave me the address to write to. I then thought that I'd try the "customer loyalty" department to see if they would credit a bit of line rental to keep meUnfortunately they weren't playing and infact said that I couldn't cancel without penalty. They suggested contacting the legal department to discuss the situation. Mixed messages from CPW! I think they are deliberately sowing the seeds of confusion to bamboozle people into staying.
...and then the window licker said to me...0 -
I asked this question on a different thread. However, I think I should ask here again:
Can I use the Orange OVP O2 200 to call to 0870/0845 numbers with my free minutes?
Many thanks.0 -
svkhtn, it's clearly written in the OVP O2 terms that 0845/0870 numbers will be included in your calling plan.0

Sorry if it sounded rude to you.
I ll re-phrase.
Read the title / original post please0 -
Just got a text telling me my terms and conditions had been changed. They said to look here: http://www.o2.co.uk/termsconditions/tariffsandboltons0153/
As an offline customer it looks like I will have to suffer 25p a min for 07744 calls. Surely there are grounds for cancellation now?0 -
u can now the 0870 number s.fone set up for those 'free' int calls -- so why the panic?:cool:0

knuckledraggar, I agree 02/CPW trying their best to wrangle out of cancellations, O2 themselves were no problem they cancelled both of my direct ones without any hassle. I made my position perfectly clear to O2/CPW and will not be paying for any periods after the 30 day notice.0
