I wasnt sure either because of what it says on their website but they are coming out of my inclusive minutes
Hope that helps
Thank you. This is very reassuring. May be I will just ignore what is said on the Mobileshop website.0 -
02 have called me today I have an XDA on the lowest tariff have never used the 077 or whatever numbers they have changed. However they have called to offer me whatever they can to make me stay. Told them I would consider and call them back.So do I ask for a better tariff, though I already have a mobile phone with them that i use and a work phone so do not really need another line/contract etc.Shall I just tell them to bin my contract? also I took the contract out in Dec which means it hasnt finished yet? will this affect credit scoring etc?
They are also saying that they are willing to refund the cost of these numbers should i use them to keep me as a customerMFWB

I noticed today that I was charged for a call to an 07744 number last month. I emailed o2 about this this morning and received this reply:Thank you for contacting O2 Customer Service.
The calls to the numbers starting with 0774 and 0775 were become chargeable from 01 July 2006 and it will no longer be a part of your inclusive allowance.
All our customers were sent a text message around 2 to 3 months ago to inform them of the changes to 07744 and 07755 numbers.
All customers that dial numbers starting with 07744 and 07755 on a regular basis received a letter confirming them of the changes and advising them that they could cancel their contract.
I have included this part of the Terms and Conditions below:
'We increase Charges for your Inclusive Calls or your monthly line rental charge or change this Agreement to your significant disadvantage, provided you give us a minimum of 30 days written notice (and provided you notify us within one month of our telling you about the changes).'

I certainly don't remember receiving a text message detailing this and am quite sceptical as to whether one was sent out. Do any then-o2 customers remember receiving a text message about this? If it has been my fault and I did receive a text then I won't bother pursuing it, but I'm not particularly happy.
Thanks in advance.0 -

I used a template letter from HERE. I'll email you a copy of the letter I used if you want to PM me your email address. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
Thanks for your kind offer. I'm happy enough writing the letter myself but I'd appreciate having a look at yours to make sure I cover everything. I'll send you a PM with my email address.0
