    My understanding is that if you register as a new payg online customer after the 5/5/06 or if you change your tariff after that date the new tariffs and terms apply and calls to 0844/0870 are no longer included in your inclusive x-net minutes.

    However if you stay on the old 100 inclusive minute x-net minute tariff they are still included.

    From their new online payg T&C.

    "Inclusive standard UK network voice calls are calls made in the UK to standard UK fixed lines (usually starting 01 or 02) and all UK mobile networks. These calls exclude video calls, calls starting 08, international calls, calls made to voicemail 901, calls made and received abroad, premium numbers, mobile internet access and information services."
    PF.

    I just spoke to CS regarding the cancelling of my contract due to the introduced charges on 07744/07755 numbers. The fellow I spoke to (a nice guy) went through everything for me and gave me two options:

    (1) cancel the contract immediately, with no charge;
    (2) reduce my line rental by £15 (to £20 per month) while keeping on my current tariff until the end of my minimum term in December, and hinted (well, pretty much blatantly said) that I could keep this reduction after upgrading and renewing then.

    I took the second option as, the new charges aside, it's a god contract, as I said in a post before, and I'll be saving about a hundred pounds over the next 6 months :)

    CPW is putting up a fight but fingers crossed i'll be able to cancel. They are denying all knowledge of the price change . i have sent them an email with the links to the price change and a copy of the mail 02 sent to its online customers. I am now waiting for my phone to ring....

    Hi Fiish well done, did you get the customer service reps id or extention number as I am having problems speaking to someone whom knows what the changes are and when they come into effect...:confused:

    Sorry, I didn't get the guy's ID or extension - should have done so, :-/

    I went to cancellations/retentions directly. First call was to a lady who misunderstood what I was saying and transferred me to Billing - I hung up. I got the guy on second try, explained the changes I had noticed and asked if I could cancel the contract. He put me on hold for a while (presumably to speak to someone higher up) and got back to me with the options as I posted before.

    My next bill is due in about a week's time, will soon see that his offer was made good :)

    Hi. Can you tell me exactly what to say to O2, regarding cancelling because of these charges?

    I am an O2 offline contract customer who bought through Dialaphone but get billed from O2 direct.

    Thanks
