Say if we cancel the contract and take out new contract today. Will we be charged for 0844/0845 and 0870 numbers on the new contract?0

Their current (new since this month) terms and conditions still state that 0800/0845/0870/0844 calls will be covered by your inclusive minutes. So if you did that you would still be able to call those numbers at no additional cost.
I, personally, am going to milk the 07744 number I have for what it's worth, while I still can use it0 -

Does anyone have a copy of a pay monthly T&C that mentions that 0844 numbers are included?
I just spoke to O2 CS about a seperate billing error and they said that if they recalculated my bill all the 0844 calls on it that were taken out of my inclusive minutes would be recalculated 'correctly' as 'National Rate' (couldn't say how much this would be) and were not included in my free minutes - only 0845 and 0870 are included. I can't find anything in the current website T&C either way and can't find the old page that gave all the high street tariffs with small print at the bottom statin fwhat calls were included in allowances.I think....0 -
Their web page is changed now.
Open this

Then go to link "O2 Online Pay Monthly terms & conditions"
Click the plus in front of it.
There it is.
9. Inclusive call minutes can be used to call some non-geographical and special services numbers with the following prefixes: 0800, 0808, 0844, 0845 and 0870. Once the inclusive minute allowance has been used up, calls to these numbers will be charged as calls to standard UK landlines at the prevailing tariff. Some exceptions may apply and calls to some numbers may be free of charge.0 -
Unable to get any discount by saying term and condition threaten to cancel my new o2 contract(only 10 days for the contract). Just sent an email to o2 ceo see what will happen.0

If your contract is only 10 days old you're still within the 14 day 'cooling off' period, and are allowed to return the phone and cancel the contract, paying only for those few days in which you used the phone.
Also, the new T&C's were written last month and notice given on 12 May (for online customers. 10 days ago the new terms were already in force, so you technically agreed to them by taking up the contract then.0 -
