punk_football wrote: »!!!!!!, what a set of !!!!s orange are. On the 3rd August I requested my PAC. They said they'd send it to me. It got to 11th August and I still hadn't had it so I phoned up. They offered me a brand new contract which I accepted. Now I've just got a text saying they're no longer making these changes and "would love for me to stay".
Does anyone know what my legal rights are with this. I don't wanna phone I phone them up and them they feed me a load of nonsense down the phone.
Afraid you got two shiny phones and two shiny contracts to run.:mad:Was this post useful to you? Feel free to click the thanks button--¬ :beer:0 -

Thanks
The CEO doesn't work out of Bristol any way, so there no point asking for a reply in 7 days. It'll take longer than that for the letter to get to his office never mind getting an answer drafted back to you.0 -
After finding out that i was entitled to cancel i phoned orange and was told that yes i could cancel but if i waited until the 5th of september i would be eligible to upgrade.
Since i have no problems with orange and was offered a good deal i said ok and the operator said someone will call me back on the 5th.
Now that they are not changing my terms and conditions will i still be entitled to the deal i was offered? as i have no leveridge against them if i cant cancel since it is a proposesd early upgrade0 -

I wonder what some of those smug salespeople will think if Orange are able to identify they've lost contracts originally sold by CPW and then charge back the commission0 -

Don't think it will make much difference to the sales people as they don't get paid commission. I'm sure CPW head office will not be happy at their actions though.0 -

Technically its not mis-selling, and i doubt they would care. As long as the company is making money. They didnt force the customers to cancel their existing contract or sign up to a new one. It was the customer who made an "informed" decision to cancel the orange contract and take another with a new handset.0 -
