    OK here goes..

When all this started i did call up and asked to cancel my contract but was told that i couldn't as i didnt exceed my mins and therefore the new charges would not effect me.

Now the way i understand it...At that point in time that advice was wrong..

Can i at this stage still cancel ? Bearing in mind the information i was given at that time was wrong and i was denied my rights ?

    Darren

Speak to Ofcom and write to the Orange Executive office outlying your complaint and take it from there.
  • I cancelled my contract when the price changes we're in effect and was told there was no problem and no cancellation fee.

But today I've received a bill for the rest of my contract... how should I go about it when I ring them? Shall I just explain that I cancelled because of the changes and the T&C's state I shouldn't be charged?
  • Anyone? :o

Not sure, I would ring the 08 number listed in this thread ( Ceo office I think? can't be arsed to look back for it...) and speak to them.
I will be doing the same as I ported across nearly 4 weeks ago after being told yes I can cancel for free and getting my pac code, still not had a final bill, starting to think I'm going to have to battle for this now!
Let me know how it goes.
  • just had a text from orange, saying the 'new price changes' the cost of mobile internet browsing and some calls are not happening now.
  • I am on orange and have had 8 replacement phones in six months i want to cancel my contract using this price increase thing...what number do you call 150? and then what option? thanks!
  • hi, not sure if you have read much of the thread but they aren't changing their prices anymore so you won't be able to use that to get out of your contract. you could look through it though and find one of the numbers for a complaints department? good luck!
