This is great. I get to leave Orange because of a change they were going to make.... Then I get to come back to Orange on the same T&Cs as I did when I first joined and the process keeping my number getting a new phone and some cash for it all.
Great stuff
No offense but this really gets on my nerves..You cancel to go back while I stay and you get the better deal.
Not your fault of course but so not on as far as I can see.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

hi from orange. please read your bill this month to learn about some changes we're making to the bills you receive by post. Thank you.Mortgage free wannabe!:
11/11/08 - £137,674 ----> 09/01/12 - £131,432 :j0 -
This whole thing is so wrong.
I was happy with Orange but after the way they have treated some better then others I am going to leave asap..and make sure all pagan forums (as they are the ones I hang around on) know all about it and with any luck it will cost them customers..
Shame on Orange..There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

None taken totally get you dude. I would be cheesed off too. Not sure about your background with Orange. But my best advise to just keep trying.0 -
Love,
I was told today that paper invoice was free again. The changes have not taken place so if you paid for your bill before you will now.
It was only those that had the free bills that would be made to pay for them and they have revoked that now..There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

Glad you understand what I meant :beer:
My background is nothing more then on a contract since 2008. Paid every month with no issue and now this..Really just annoyed I guess at being a loyal customer and being treated this way.
I don't want to leave them but after this I will..No point speaking to them as they admit that some reps might have offered £20 cash back or a new phone but that is down to each rep......For gods sake how is that standard policy ?
Shocking customer care......if people want to leave, fine let them and block them from rejoining if you want but don't offer some new deals and shiny stuff and not the rest.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

Alot of companies do this. I havent received this text yet and do recieve paper bills and as far as I was aware I was not getting charged for them.
I did make a payment once to cover my charges for a few months aka my credit on my account was £100+ and I still got a bill saying I needed to pay and for not paying by direct debit (They already had money!) I was charged and this charge came to a quater of my bill for that bill.0 -
there is not going to be a charge for the standard paper bill......The full statement will cost you but it always did.
They have revoked the charge so nothing will change that way.
*Why on earth and I helping Orange out..lol Maybe their rep needs to get back here and deal with some of the questions *There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

Revoked in the sense of changes in the Terms and Conditions again? They cant change from free bills to charge you and offer you an opt out option. Thats still a change in Terms and Conditions - when will they learn. But with the opting out I doubt you would really have a case - in sense that Ofcom won't do much as very few it any would complain about this. And its not really of any detriment.0
