was told my contract would be canceled in 24 hrs but phone still working ,you reckon i should phone again and see whats going on
  • oh and i did get the text today :)

The text had already gone out when you took out your contract (Tues was the 21st, the text went out 18th/19th). So you'll have agreed the new T&C's when you took out your contract.

I'm not so sure about that, because the T&C's currently on line on the Orange web site specify the minimum call charge at 4.9p.

becareful if you havent received the text. as i said it my previous post they guy i spoke to said that if u havent received the text u can get charged
I hope that's not the case, because I've just cancelled and told them I got the txt last week, when I hadn't.

But if it's affecting everyone, surely receiving the txt message is irrelevant

So if we've been successful in phoning up and cancelling the contract, do we still need to write in?

Hmmm ok, but is it true that they wouldn't lie in saying they have terminated your contract? Because I don't know if we'll get written confirmation before the next bill.

I took out a contract on the 16th June 09.

Can anyone tell me if I'm entitled to cancel (I haven't received a txt)?
