Orange Price changes ?

well this is a right chew on.............

i didnt get anywhere.

rang them, said what everyone says to say.

firstly they pretty much admitted it was a reason to cancel but then they pulled one out the bag... apparently because I lowered my inclusive minutes it doesnt apply to me (did this a month ago).

then they said i dont go over my allowance so it wont affect me.

i spoke to a supervisor and she basically lost her rag with me and ended the call angrily stating that we were going rund in circles and she had note-padded my account to say that no one will be allowing my out of my contract.

Under their own tc's the device (phone) is not part of the contract - just point that out if you have any trouble.

explained problem, anthony claimed he was unaware of this text message and put me on hold. after being on hold the lad quoted the 4.3 point from T&Cs stating i'd have to give 14 days notice in writing.

they keep asking me for sum sort of code from the txt to make sure i had recived it (i did nt ) and they said some people were getting out of there contracts fraudulently by saying they had recived it ..... nw i would have thought tht this change effects every1 nt just those who recived the txt and tht those who recived the txt are just those who regularly go over the minutes ??? confused....

haha thats not even easy AFTER the minimum term...

so....I've ordered the new iphone on o2 (am a sucker for gadgets me), and it's out of stock!!!!!!!!!! typical!! I now dont want to risk canceling with orange till the new one turrns up as im worried i will end up with nothing. Aparently the only wait is stock (spoke to CPW), i was worried about the credit check as im stuffed on that but he said thats fine .....i can see a big row ending up with orange when i try to cancel now, even though i have the guys name who confirmed i can!! I am sure that when they realise how many people are canceling they will come up with a get out, but then surely if i was told yesterday i am allowed to cancel as per T&C they are stuffed,,,,what do you think ? I am scared i am going to end up with 2 phone contracts.

Ok i took out a new orange contract on Tuesday. So 6 days ago.

When did this come into affect? Basically when is the cut off period. If I wait till my 7 days return is over and ring to cancel it can I? or have they put the new prices on all the contracts?

I mean obv they will be putting it on all the ones from now on but when did they start!?!?! Does anyone know?

I'm sitting on a new HTC Hero that will be finding its way to Ebay if I can!

well if you speak to the people i have, you're going to end up with 2 contracts. i've got 7 months left on mine, and ive been with them 5 year. and ive been told i have to put it in writing.
