Orange Price changes ?

Phew...got through to someone finaly that knew what i was talking about, after billing tried to fob me off saying my cals aren't affected as Im on 24 month contract. Spoke to nice man in disconnections who said yes fine to cancel just pay the next 30 days for notice period...I haven't cancelled yet as want to see if i can get another contract first, dont want to be stuck with nothing....so will wait and see...i got the nice chaps name and extension number anyway so i can speak to him again....fingers crossed for me i think

The guy never said anything about a notice period to me.

typical!!! i will bring this up when i cancel then!! I have also decided to keep a note of this discussion so if i get any problems i will be off to citizens advice!!

I'm trying to cancel my contract just now. Stuck on hold as the guy wants me to pay £73 to cancel 4 months early.

Good luck - let us know how you get on! i'm waiting for a response to a letter i sent so will be phoning if they don't say they are disconnecting me. basically with all of the people that have managed to cancel, they can't say now that they aren't willing to do so!

Mutedwhisper, I really do hope you get your contract cancelled, you seem such a nice person. Please post and let us all know.

Got my contract cancelled and told to expect my PAC by Wednesday. Thanks to 4810510 who posted the contract details on page three, came in really handy when I had to quote them. I never received the text message, although I was asked about it and I said I had received it. He tried asking what number the message came from, but I just told him I couldn't remember and I couldn't check because I was using my phone to call him. I also don't ever go over my minutes.

Told my contract will be cancelled as of the 25th August, I will be charged a termination fee to my bill, but then I will receive a credit to counteract the charge. Quite chuffed I managed to do this first time.

is this for sim only deal as well? or just those with contracts inc phones?
