  • I have a few questions:

    1. In the terms and conditions it says that your Technical support helpline is an 09067 number charged at a premium rate (as specified from time to time on your website). I couldn't find this information on your website. Could you please confirm what the call charges are for your technical support? Also are the hours really only from 8am to 10pm?

    2. What if I do want to quit prior to 18 months - will I be charged the remainder of the contract or is there a flat cancellation fee.

    Thanks!

    Hi there

not sure but will find out and come back to you

  • Hi Inside Scoop,

No worries no offence taken! I kind of liked the Military association of atheists and freethinkers. ;)

    This is totally unture

There is no disconnection fee if you choose to leave at teh end of the 18 month contract

If you want to leave within the contract then you will be charged the LOWER of either £70 or the cost of your service for the remainder of the contract (if you have two months left then it will be £20.99 x 2)

Ok, the website is wrong and will be amended. The actual number is 0871 226 7146 and the lines are open 8am - 10pm. Calls are charged at 10p/min which is the standard cost for and 087 number (this is correct as of today - technical support charges may vary in the future)

If you want to quite prior to the end of your 18 month contract then it is the LOWER of £70 or the cost of your remaining service charge (no. of months x £20.99)

    Hope this helps!

Anyone thinking of taking TalkTalk's unreliable ropey service, must need their heads seeing too, there are already enough people scrambling to leave, as the service is poorly run, they admit they are going to lose money to begin with, are they going to plough more money into the service to get it working, as it's crap now, imagine how bad it's going to get with it free!
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
