As a buyer what puts you off a listing?

I happen to like centre lined text! Am I the only person?? Lol. I like it when they make it easy to read basically, big font (not HUGE font), centre lined.
Another centre-aligned-text fan here. I admit I use it in my listings (in easy-to-read sized font) - I never knew it was evil lol. Perhaps I will change to bullets in future. :undecidedThey deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
People who don't rotate the pictures so they're the right way up do my head in.
Its very simple to rotate a picture !!0 -

I'm 100% guilty of doing this, I find it easier to read..
And I use auctiva layouts, and I use big red words to point out things.. like..This item is NOT in a good condition
I'm sorry, I can't help it

You missed out the fact that you care for the disabled chimps in a village miles from anywhere and either a) you don't drive so you depend on the bus/your imaginary friends or b) the car park isn't actually free, you know, so your parking fee is built into the p&p charges, and also please bear in mind that we don't all sit next to our computers all the time so if you do contact me don't expect a reply within about a fortnight.0 -

Just thought of another one..people that don;t know how to use ebay and so have a start price and BIN price that are exactly the same. You see a lot of them, start price £4.99 BIN £4.99...why!!
I mean good grief ebay charge us enough already, why pay them twice for a single auction? Do a BIN or an auction and sort it out.
I also agree about the subtitles, I found one this evening where all they had in the sbtitle box was *excellent*, why is that worth 35p to say, and on a 99p item anyway?
I do suspect that some people list completely without checking the fees before they hit confirm. Dont they realise how much they are wasting?
Edit: (This oculd go on all night) private sellers with a £1 start price..why not save yourself a listing fee and start at 99p?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. £4.99 BIN with auction 20p, without- 40p. You don't get as long obviously though. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

My biggest hate is someone that states no reserve but then has an opening bid of £x when £x is probably more than I'd pay for the item in the first place.
Next is someone that wont reveal a reserve. Why should I waste my time checking an auction when the reserve is more than I'd pay for what your selling anyway?
I'm not talking about being a cheapskate here, I'm talking about being a realist. For YOU to be a realist in your asking price in the first place.0 -

I hate 'no reserve' in titles, for low value items especially - because the minimum reserve you can set is 50 quid, so even stating no reserve is a waste of time!!If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Just stumbled across this one on ebay - fantastic example of descriptive title
anyone want an aiming thingy ? :rotfl:0
