I never buy anything if it has a stock photo - I want to see the actual item not a catalogue pic.

Expect to see a LOT more of this in the coming months from ebay as they continue with their Amazon-ification plans. It's already mentioned in their latest T&C's that they'll be increasing the use of catalogued product searches.

Oh yes, that reminds me, I absolutely hate photos of things laid out on the floor and the photo has got the taker's feet in the bottom! For the love of all that is holy please crop them out, I don't need to know that you're in desperate need of Curanail, especially if you're selling shoes

seeing a packet of crisp emptied on the floor next to the item was an of put for me
I'm all ways having malteser moments thats me

Really? well I'll be buying more from the high street in that case - unless it's an appliance from a company on ebay (like a couple of wks ago we bought a large fridge freezer which I wouldn't expect the company to photo each one they have in stock). I think a lot of the time it is lazyness that ppl choose stock photos for mobile phones, books etc etc.

As mentioned by (percy?), my biggest gripe is with IT 'expert' PC sellers describing a 2.4ghz quad core as a 9.6ghz processor. REALLY winds me up! Especially when these people are (power seller) business sellers purely targeting the non techie folk who think a '9.6 ghz' processor trumps a 2.8 ghz quad core... I report these chumps everytime I see them.

YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU 'ZOOM_COMPUTERS!'

It was me who said that, how do you go about reporting them as I will do the same.

Similar with grahics cards, was looking for an older AGP card like an ATI x850 and found one which said 'plays all new games on high settings'. Don't get me wrong it is a capable card in many ways but that is pushing it.

Also sellers who claim very high overclocks have been done with a board/processor, but when you ask a few basic questions about multipliers and how they know it was stable you just get the 'you might not get the same results'.

Pesonnally I am looking at uprading my system and may just sell the board/processor/ram together as pre overclocked and ready to go. but why bother with my 3.24Ghz core2 when you have these 9Ghz monsters about?
