So many little things annoy me, most of which have already been mentioned.
I dont know if its just me, but I get put off by descriptions on clothes when the seller says they are selling due to weight loss. It just makes me feel fat!0 -

I know exactly how you feel, I'm a size 20's and also pregnant at the moment. I've not noticed it for a while, but when i was in 18's and searching for Sexy size 18 clothes i'd find a lot with 'TV?' written in the title, and obviously a man wearing the garments in the pic. So real curvy women don't want little black dresses?? Only men who like to wear frocks?I also find it really annoying when if something is plus size (but not maternity clothes) some sellers like to add 'Maternity?' to the title!! or even saying in the description 'i wore this while pregnant' if it's just regular clothes!
If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -

I wonder what he means by shed clearance item, an item that helps you clear a shed, or an item cleared from the same shed that the aiming thingy came from. :rotfl:0 -

Ooops...I just listed a load of stuff that with this on it. I just wanted to explain why I had so much stuff never or hardly worn to get rid of at once. Hope it doesn't put people off?0 -
Ooh, my pet hate (apart from crappy txt spk
) is people who have photos of the item with loads of other crap around. The number of people that think nothing of photographing something to sell, laid out on a filthy floor covered in crumbs and surrounded by mess is unreal.

And finally, individual sellers who refer to themselves in the plural ie "We pride ourselves on the good quality of our products" "We aim to dispatch our products within 5 working days" etc, making it sound like they are some huge outfit when in fact they are one guy in his garage.
I had/have the wide text problem on my listings. I don't use Auctiva.
I contacted ebay and eventually they told be to change my browser as they couldn't replicate the problem, therefore they couldn't fix it.
The problem disappeared (for me anyway) when I bought a new computer.
I write "we" on our listings. There is only me'n'him but I sign all the listing "Chris & Frank"
Is that OK?0 -
Just thought of another one..people that don;t know how to use ebay and so have a start price and BIN price that are exactly the same. You see a lot of them, start price £4.99 BIN £4.99...why!!
Not a technique I'd use but it will alter where the listing shows in search results, especially if it doesn't get a buyer/bidder in the first few days.
You have to look at best match results and ending soonest results0
