Re smoke/pet free- I always add this onto my listings. Basically I consider this really important and so figure others must too!
I have been selling some baby things and definitely think it important for these.
As for not being a home without a pet, that is a personal judgement, and many homes are happy without them! For the record we own a cat but she is an outside cat, and my dog lives with my mum as she wanted to keep her when I left home!

It really annoys me when people don't put what leg length trousers and jeans are.
The amount of times I have bought trousers and jeans that in the listing it doesn't state what leg length they are and like a fool I've assumed they are standard and when they arrive they barely reach my ankles! (Or once I got some jeans that were 36" inside leg - is anyone that tall except for supermodels?) I always ask the seller now if it is not stated!

Ebay on the drop down trouser length has 28", 30" etc, but Next trousers are a standard 29"......so no option on the drop down and am now resorting to writing 29" in the descripto.....would be nice if it went up in increments of 1"! Or is there a way round and me being silly? Any answers would be welcomed!
I agree it is annoying when they are a funny length- I am reasonably tall and sometimes regular/sometimes long fit but NEVER PETITE!!!!

  • The smoke / pets thing: if I'm selling clothes or soft toys (which is VERY rarely) I always put that they come from a pet free / smoke free home. I mean I wash them anyway before selling but I feel it should be on in case a potential buyer has pet allergies or something. I don't put it in super sized, bright green bold font or anything though lol!

    Pet peeves on eBay listings:
    * No sizes. How hard is it to whip out a measuring tape?
    * With DVD's - no specification of region. There's no excuse as it's on the back of the box!
    * Photos that come with comment "it's not actually this colour but it's the same style" Erm... invest in a cheap-y digital camera and get a real photo up.
    * Unreasonable P+P. My parents run a PO. I know what's excessive and what's not. (I once looked at a couple of mugs being sold (seperately) by the same seller. They were the same size, weight etc, just the design that varied. But his P+P was different for each one! Idiot.)

One of my pet hates are eBay sellers who add 4 numbers to the end of their username to try and make it look like huge feedback; for example: marysmith1876
I sometimes wonder if that's the amount of accounts they've already been through. ;)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

Sorry for the rather large bump, but I just had to put this. :D
    (They're worth about £15 ;))

Have you reported them ? Excessive P and P and fee evasion ?

Maybe they are packaged in gold leaf and delivered by lemurs driving a carriage? If so that would be a bargain:D

LOL, maybe it will be personal delivery by Gordon Brown- he will need a new job, mind £200 is excessive for that! Perhaps seller meant £20 ?
