SPG in general - I don't want to buy from a stupid person. My biggest bugbear is "really unique" because something either is or isn't unique.

My favourites are the ones which are clearly written by an intelligent person having some fun, see the best ever advert for a car:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ab-USED-1990-TOYOTA-SUPRA-TURBO-AUTO-WHITEish_W0QQitemZ190302272464QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item190302272464&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:7|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:8|294:50
Do you need it? Yep. Really? Yes! How have you managed for the last 28 years without it? Erm....
    NO NAUGHTY SHOPPING Bex.

I don't know what's funnier. The listing, or all the questions the seller received in relation to the listing. :D:D:D
  • seriously long descriptions which actually become a blog

People who try and get more money for "insurance" get up my nose too
PLEASE NOTE:- make sure you take adequate insurance for valuable items.
Cards over £38 will need to be sent special to cover them for max value loss, otherwise if they do go missing and I am only able to claim for the maximum of the insurance then I will only be able to refund the same amount, so please bear this in mind when you choose the level of service YOU want when I send it as it is out of my hands once I hand it over to the PO it is not in my control and you must take responsibility for the level of insurance you require.
I will send them out on the cheaper recorded service but it is at YOUR risk, not mine. Sorry but that's fair, I will always have a proof of posting :-)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

I can't edit the last post, sorry, but it gets better her dispatch stars are 4.2 . I can't see her having an ebay account much longer.

I have money burning a hole in my pocket and have given up trying to buy something nice to wear in the sun on ebay. If I have to read one more auction from a business seller pretending to be a private seller , or any seller who is not responsible for items lost in the post unless I pay an extra £3.50 for recorded (!!) I shall scream. What is it with clothes sellers? I can't recall any other category where sellers seem such a strange lot.

Really long descriptions with desperate attempts to sell the item, especially with false information.

    Really long terms and conditions.

Those who offer extra insurance for an extra fee.

    Listings that are quite aggressive.

Those who reply to previous negative feedback aggressively.

The word RARE, when their are 26 other listings of the same item.

People who include e-mail addresses in listings asking you to contact them if you are after something they haven't listed as they 'may be able to find it for you'
