:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Cyril on a related point (and I'm on a roll now and the OP may regret opening this thread!), how about one that I actually started a thread on last year whose title was 'book' or 'shoes' or 'ornament'.
Yep, that's all they said, so I checked the description and they had nothing at all apart from the single word 'book' again, and a shaky photo.Obviously the seller never sold a thing but just kept relisting and must have been paying a fortune in fees
I emailed her and explained that some description would be useful, and explained that she was losing a lot of money on fees. She thanked me politely and said that nothing sold so she was incurring no fees (oh dear) and amended her descriptions to 'nice book' and 'pretty shoes'.0 -

Sellers who charge 99p for an item, then £16.99 for postage, especially if it's like a t-shirt or something. If for some reason you need a refund, you're only going to get the original 99p back. Also a sneaky way to get your expensive stuff onto lists where people search for items under a few quid.
People with lots of negative feedback who try to turn it round onto the buyer. E.g 'Paid immediately and item never arrived. Seller didn't respond to emails' followed by 'OMG Buyer is a total idiot, AVOID!'
I don't mind long lists for T&Cs, I usually don't bother to read them, but I don't like it when someone says something like 'I'm not responsible for items lost in the post. I normally wouldn't write this but I'm sick of being messed around by people who think they can steal from me etc etc' We don't need to know about your personal grievances with other buyers!

Another one from feedback, is people who blame their rubbish items on how cheap they are, this has also happened to me. I paid 99p (plus a few quid postage) for a T-shirt that looked good on the photo but turned out to be a cheap rubbish T-shirt with a bad transfer on it. When I complained about the quality, they left me negative feedback (I'd paid immediately after I won the auction) saying 'it was 99p, what did you expect? Buyer is an IDIOT'. I was absolutely fuming. I've bought plenty of nice, good quality tops for 99p before

I actually have to stop myself posting too much on this thread, I have a horrible feeling if I really got started I just wouldn't be able to stop.
I think we've already had it mentioned once but I find it so irritating I iwll mention it again as I have just found it on an auction I was interested in
"Please note that this is not free postage like it says, ebay have got grasping and greedy and am forcing me to list this without postage and I think thats pants so if you want it you will have to pay me £5 for postage and that includes all my time and extras for wrapping so don't bid unless you know you have to pay. If you don't pay I always neg non paying bidders. Thank you for bidding on my auctions".
My finger did accidentally slip on the report button for that one not that it matters as he never seems to sell anything anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. !
That's where sellers are being a bit daft . If it goes to a paypal chargeback sellers have to refund the lot including the postage paid. If the item gets lost in the post though and the seller has to refund the buyer in full, the seller can only claim tiem cost and actual postage paid from RM so seller loses out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Please note I will be on holiday from 9th to 13th July so any payments received during those dateswill be processed promptly after I return. I have listed dispatch time as 10 days in line with this.I have 100% positive feedback any problems with your purchase dont hesitate to contact me before leaving feedback. I will try and resolve amicably to avoid negative feedback but non-payers/timewasterswill be reported and negative feedback left.
There is so much wrong with this listing Why put a listing up if you are going on Holiday! Don't boast about your feedback. You only have 1 as a sellere the other 265 are as a buyer. You cant leave negative feedback for a buyer.0 -
I do love the 'negative feedback will be left for buyers' really shows how much they understand ebay doesn't it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
