As a buyer what puts you off a listing?

I thought I was not fussy but....
-photos that are blurry, so can't see what colour, shape etc
-photos that are not the right way up
-no photo at all
-description containing very few words ie short sleeve top, I like to know everything there is to know: size, measurements, material, brand, condition etc
-when item is used but no description on condition of the item
-too many rules, guide lines etc
-seller not accepting responsibility for items lost in post ie buyer has to do claim with RM
-p&p too high

Cyril on a related point (and I'm on a roll now and the OP may regret opening this thread!), how about one that I actually started a thread on last year whose title was 'book' or 'shoes' or 'ornament'.
Yep, that's all they said, so I checked the description and they had nothing at all apart from the single word 'book' again, and a shaky photo.Obviously the seller never sold a thing but just kept relisting and must have been paying a fortune in fees
I emailed her and explained that some description would be useful, and explained that she was losing a lot of money on fees. She thanked me politely and said that nothing sold so she was incurring no fees (oh dear) and amended her descriptions to 'nice book' and 'pretty shoes'.
I saw a classic example of this today - the title and description were both "Coffee for festivals". That's it. (Item #270419676984). Start price £32. Can't imagine why no-one bid lol.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
One thing that REALLY puts me off buying something, is if it's a mingy background. Selling a trousers press, and there's curled up undies on the floor in the background. Or a bread maker, and there's a cat sitting with it's a**e in the frying pan just behind it. Noooo people! Nooo!0
