Just found this in a listing
STORAGE: All payments to be made within 3 working days from auction end, after this period the item will incur a storage fee of £2 per day for up to 10 days from end of auction.

Is that allowed never sseen it before I would think it counts as a surcharge

i dont like it when auctions dont have real images of the product being sold

if its a new product sold by a shop i dont mind a stock image, its likely ive looked on retail shops and tried ebay for a bargain, if its a private sale of used stuff i dont like people using stock images. if people dont have an image at all on their auction and very little in the description department i tend to avoid the auction.

i recently won an auction on the basis of the photograph, it advertised a guitar effect pedal and the description was for a totally different model, i assume the seller didnt know what he was selling, he had even printed the manual out for the different model...

if he hadnt have taken a blurred photo i would never have spotted it !

It would not be enforceable and certainly makes the seller look a bit naive.

Its a PS with 51084 feedback you would think they know better. (well maybe not)

Found this (i'm not searching for them honest!)
Negative feedback impacts our business and as such we have taken steps to protect our reputation. Legal steps will be taken against any unfair feedback.

Love to see them take legal action on someones opinion of their service.

I do wonder about some people honestly and as you say you don't have yo search for them you find them all the time.

I suppose some can be left over from old templates? Maybe the 'negative feedback will be left for non paying bidders' can be explained away due to that, but there is no excuse for some of the other ones.

This has been a major complaint of mine, the fact that ebay and paypal sell themselves as being 'easy enough to be used by anyone'. That is clearly untrue, some eople are just not suited for ebay and should be made to sit some sort of guidance tutorial before they are let loose. How many threads do we see on the community boards where serious problems have occured because a basic misunderstanding has occured that a quick read of the rules could have cleared up in minutes.

I don't know if this has been covered already, but I HATE listings with a reserve!
What is the point? We all know a reserve is at least £50! Just put your starting price at the minimum you'll accept and then everyone knows where they stand.
