Morning Everyone:hello:
:grouphug:For everyone who needs them, especailly Scruffy.
Well, it's pouring down here in Spudland (well, Surrey). Been out for a damp walk to get Spud off to sleep & he is now quite happily snoozing in his pushchair in the living room, popped into tescos for bananas & discovered their reduced price fridge was stacked with bargains so came out with quite a few bits:o
All cleaning etc was done yesterday, got my parents popping in this afternoon for a couple of hours so a nice lazy day really. Just alundry to do but can't hang it outside due to weather:undecided:tongue: I am ashamed to admit it, but I only bought my first microfibre cloth this week.....how have I ever managed without one before:rotfl::T If only I could find somewhere locally that stocks Stardrops I'd be the happiest MSE bunny on the forum today:think:
B : (was) Weetabix type thingies
L : Reduced price steak pie & salad
D : Chicken fried rice made from leftover chinese egg freid rice/leftover roast chicken & reduced price veg:D
Have a good day everyone:wave:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Morning everyone.
Scruffy - (((hugs))). Hope your mum is OK. Don't feel guilty, you have done all you can.
Its great to be able to have a lie in on a Friday isn't it? Unfortunately DS has caught a sickness bug. He was sick in the car yesterday on the way to Grandma's, who was looking after him for the day. She ended up having to strip him and put him in a Thomson holidays t-shirt (oh the indignity!) whilst his clothes were washed and dried. After tha he was fine and enjoyed his day. Last night however he was sick again so it was a fun night. This morning he is right as rain and has gone to play on his frien'd trampoline.
I have to go to Mum's later to pass on Easter eggs for family. She is staying with my sister in Lichfield over the weekend. Ds is going back to Dad's on Saturday and me and OH are going to Wales to check out where he will be working in his new job. I also want to plant up the last of my seeds. It seems a bit late but there has been such erratic weather recently. Blue skies and frosts???
I am off next week and Mon-Tues of the week following. I have a trip to Oswaldtwistle Mills planned and hope to be able to visit some National Trust properties with DS and his half-brother who I will be looking after next week. (Yes I know it is weird but me and XOH are still good friends, even though he is re-married and I am very happy with my OH.)
I could go and get dressed I suppose but I love being able to potter in my dressing gown. Don't think I am lazy though, I have done one washload and hung it on the line. BM is on too.
Have a great Easter weekend everyone.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Good afternoon everyone! Happy Good Friday!
I've had a lazy morning so far, done a few surveys and signed up for a mystery shopping job, isn't it great when you get paid but dont even need to leave the house?!
Planning on popping to Aldi later though to stock up on fruit and veg for weekend, so have to think about getting dressed soon!
Scruffy , so sorry to hear about your mom.

Happy Easter Everyone
I have had a lazy day so far because thats what bank holidays are all about eh? Im off to my parents house soon for a joint lunch - I made the soup (veg and chick pea in the SC) and shes providing the bread! My mum is not renowned for her cooking so she is mega impressed that I have actually made soup (I know its the norm for you guys!) Anyway her comment was "will it be as good as that Covent Garden soup i buy??" mmm setting the standards pretty high then ma!!
The rest of the weekend is going to be taken up with looking after my best mates dog whilst they go away for a well deserved weekend. Hes a lovely dog and i really look forward to him staying but it will mean no more lie ins for a few days and lots of long leisurly walks. My neighbour is having an egg hunt on Sunday too and it includes my garden so lots of kids and a mad dog!! (Cant wait) Hope you all have a lovely Easter and a relaxing break

Afternoon all :hello: again
WM is on for the 3rd time. 2nd load of washing is outside drying. 1st load of washing is being ironed! (ok, so not at this precise moment cos I'm here) Most importantly, I've got Pride and Prejudice on the DVD player (BBC version) to boost my ironing................. mmmmmmmmmmmm......... Mr Darcey...........

Afternoon all:easter:
scruffy - (((hugs))) Hope your mum gets better soon
Well, I've been to mum's most of the day - even though I got up late and forgot to watch MartinWhen I say 'got up late', it means got up early to give kids breakfast and went back to bed again. DS1 has developed a hacking cough which he insisted on sharing with me from 3am when he crawled in beside me
I now feel like I'm fairly drunk - I'm not
I feel all light headed and my ears all full of cotton wool. I could quite cheerfully crawl into bed and sleep, but as the mouselings are currently fighting, I think the chances are about zero
I have no idea what to do for tea - a freezer dip I think. I have 2 full loads of washing ready for ironing but i have missed all this wonderful drying weather today as I didn't get any washing done before I went out.
Ok - hope you all have a good easter - I must go and referee - apparently The Incredible Hulk is in trouble because he's not meant to have a light-saber!! :rotfl:
Catch ya later

Happy Easter weekend to you all. It is a gorgeous day here and we had lunch outside. All you can hear is birds. It is bliss. No shopping today, just chilling and we have been reading outside as it`s so warm. No dashing here there and everywhere as the children are now adults. In those days it was always the tail wagging the dog
Lots of people gone away from here for a break but days like this, in this country, are the best
All this chilling has been helped by a shop in tesco for organic, free range chicken and fridge things plus the veg box came yesterday so don`t have to think about food, as there is enough to feed us and any visitors for days
I finished a simnel cake off and made an os madeira cake to go in the oven with the chicken
Have a good holiday, all you lovely people0
