    Hiya,

I've just left you a voicemail. Could you possibly give me a ring back when you get a chance?

I'd also recommend removing your username from your last post.

    Many thanks.

re post 1871 (yes a long time ago but I no longer have internet access!) Thanks for the offer James but after another lengthy email and the threat of OFCOM (as MAAF deleted my complaint from their "tickets") I have now been refunded. They have told me it is a "gesture of goodwill". Not sure how getting my own money back is a goodwill gesture but at least they have said it will be returned.

Now to wait and see if it turns up in my bank account.....the biggest problem I have found is that the different departments at MAAF don't talk to each other and don't pass on information. So although one person says it will be refunded I wouldn't be surprised if I phoned tomorrow and was told that they have no record of the refund!!
  • Yes I rang back customer services again and they said that a technical support team will look into it and get back to me within 24 hours.

I have no idea what it is they will look into as the problem seems to be with the installed phone line, which is completely dead.

I've tried 3 different phones with it and none of them work, I cannot even get a dial tone.
  • Well as part of a response to a ticket complaint I sent, the reply I received today offered me £9.99 per month for renewing my MAAF contract when it comes up for renewal and a discount off my next months payment owing to the issues a lot of folk had with passwords changing etc that I think were mentioned earlier in this thread...

Didn't have to phone... so it may be worth sending in a ticket request to save the hassle and expense of an 0844 call... if you want a £9.99 renewal offer... ;)

    :D

    And £13.99 per month for the 20GB package(also retentions)..N

Does anyone know what retentions quote for the 50gb package please? Also what is the number for retentions? I raised a ticket and was quoted £29.99 which is shabby considering I'm a longstanding customer and that's worse than the signup deal. I'm on the 20gb package with 32gb usage last month and MAAF is refusing to backdate charging on package change. It's not a nice way to be treated when you've been a good customer.

Did you raise a ticket to complain about the renewal cost ?

My current deal ends in a month or so and the best offered so far results in a 28% price increase if you factor everything in from what was agreed for this year.
