Sorry for not keeping up with important events, Gambler.
(only realised Samara had gone yesterday)
  • What is the latest/best offer folk have had from Madasafish to retain their custom for another 12 months?

Getting to the point where I am going to need to make a decision to leave (due to pretty poor customer service/ slow speeds etc...) or stay (due to a stunningly cheap offer that takes into account the aforementioned issues! well this is MSE afterall) ;)

Look forward to your replies... maybe even from James_PN on the subject of customer retention deals...

    Hi there,

I'm not in the habit of making retention offers public ;)

If you'd like to PM me your username that you use to access "My Account" though, I'll be happy to review your account and usage and I'll see what I can do for you.

don't give them your credit/debit card details :p
  • Rang to discuss offers. Young lady started with the standard 6+6 offer from website. Said I didn't need the router they were offeing & asked for 9.99 for 12 months, offered flat rate of 13.99! Pointed out this was more than 6+6 offer? Came down to 11.99 for 12 months, asked for 10.99, consulted with supervisor agreed10.99 for 12 months to start at next payment. Verbal agreement & was happy with this, however 5 minutes later received a call back to say they would offer me 9.99 for 12 months. Just waiting now to see if I get another call offering even cheaper!!!

Generally, paying for a service does actually help despite contrary opinion ;)

The problem is letting MAAF have your card details.

Just set up direct debit then if there's a "mistake", the direct debit guarantee makes sure you don't have to worry.
