Kerobo... here is what happened to me. I gave them my £400 in June 2009 and to cut 7 months into a paragraph they farmed my case out to another lawyer, who they said had accepted my case. I was also told that similar cases involving against the same company had won their money back. Some time later I got some paper work from this lawyer to sign, with details of the procedure. Well and good I thought. I didn't hear anything more for a number of months. Then I got a letter from these lawyers simply saying they had looked at my case again, had changed their minds and now would not be proceeding due to lack of grounds.
Since then, (November) Kerobo have not returned my money, or my calls, or responded to emails, or to my registered letter. I spoke to the ministry of justice this morning who said they are already investigating the company. I would not currently advise any dealings with them..
The upshot is they are £400 up, and I am £400 more in debt. Don't go there. What they sell is hope, what you will likely get is more debt.0 -
Basically, whoever is in charge of this company should be brought to task. But as usual, companies can just take your money willy nilly yet no one is accountable. Massive difference if anyone owes a company money though. :rolleyes:All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

In fact being on this site and seeing all the troubles of people paying money over to firms like the one here and the fact that MOJ and the OFT are doing Zero to stop it, seems like perhaps a complaint higher than MOJ is needed. I don't know who you would complain to about a regulator though????0 -
Take them to a small claims court to get your money back. Cite breach of contract as the reason. They have 14 days to reply to your complaint. If they don't, you win by default and send the bailiffs in. You can do it all online, very easy.All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

I have given Kerobo fourteen days to refund my £800. They are a total nightmare and have done nothing for the money.
It is ironic that at the rate they are going, I will have paid off one of the loans before they do anything about it........0 -
Kerobo Claims are nothing but a bunch of liars and thiefs.
After promising me a 99% chance of a successful claim and me giving them £495:eek: I then got absolutely nothing for my money. Apart from a hugh phone bill trying to get an update, response and my money back.
All you will get is excuse after excuse, it has been 4 months now and I have been waiting over 6 weeks for my money back. :mad: I have contacted the Ministry of Justice to see if they can help!!!
The Directors name, so I have been told is Mr Darren Bott.
Nicky Forest is Head of Customer Services
After searching on the net I have now found another company "money-saver.co.uk" which is also part of Kerobo.
I am now going to go through the small claims court to get my money back, lets hope this works.
Please, please, please anyone who is thinking of using this company........DONT. Do not believe their false promises as it is all a waist of your money and time.
I hope this helps0 -
I'd be happy to do a joint class action against them. I called today and I've been told refunds are being done tomorrow.... we'll see.0

Their complaints procedure is here. If they are breaching what they have advertised on their site then make another complaint also.
Complaints Handling Procedure
Complaints may be made in writing, by email, by telephone or in any other form in respect of a claims management service that we have provided and that is regulated under the Compensations Act 2006.
We reserve the right to decline to consider a complaint that is made more than 6 months after you become aware of the cause of the complaint.
There may be instances where we will waive this requirement at our discretion. We will confirm to you in writing if a complaint has been made outside the time limit that we are prepared to consider.
We will send you a written or electronic acknowledgement of a complaint within five business days of receipt, identifying the person who will be handling the complaint for the business. Wherever possible, that person will have been directly involved in the matter which is the subject of the complaint, and will have authority to settle the complaint.
Within four weeks of receiving a complaint, we will send you either:
a) A final response which adequately addresses the complaint ;
OR
b) A holding response, which explains why we are not yet in a position to resolve the complaint and indicates when we will make further contacts with you
Within eight weeks of receiving a complaint we will send you either:
1. A final response which adequately addresses the complaint ;
OR
2. A response which:- Explains why we are still not in a position to make a final response, giving reasons for the further delay and indicates when we expect to be able to provide a final response;
- And informs you that you may refer the handling of the complaint to the Claims Management Regulator if you are dissatisfied with the delay.
Appropriate redress will not always involve financial redress.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or a complaint is not resolved after eight weeks you may refer the complaint to-
Claims Management Regulator

The Regulator can review the handling of the complaint and give a direction on further handling of the complaint. However, he cannot determine a complaint or award compensation.0 -
