I have recently been talking to a company call Kerobo Claims Ltd who have told me that after looking at my details they believe that they can have a loan and a credit card cancelled as they have been missold. Has anyone heard of this company, are they a genuine claims company or just a scam outfit? They give their address as Ravenstone House, Britannia Road, Sale.

I have a claim with this company which has just been accepted by ATM solicitors. so they are now taking my bank to court as they think they can win the case and clear my debt.:T

any one in their right mind would like to save money and get out of debt the easy way, banks dont have moral otherwise there would not be cause for this service. Good luck in paying your debt and interest on it out of your own pocket - im very comfortable with avoiding mine.

Then I must be not in my right mind cause I would not want to "avoid" mine and would not be comfortable either for blatantly avoiding it.

PPI can be claimed back mostly without the need for any company like this and without paying a price other than a stamp or two.

Good luck with your debt avoidance.
  • Your not in your right mind, the banks have just avoided billions of their own debts. When your taxes go up this year to pay for their fraudulent dealings and bonuses you might think again about the so called moral argument. If the institution that tells you to play by the rules does the opposite and you keep playing along then you are out of your mind. The reason bankers are rich is precisely because they don't play by the rules..
  • On another note Kerobo claimed to have refunded my money yesterday, we shall see !

Seeing as though I spent every penny of my debt, and agreed to the interest when borrowing it, I am quite comfortable paying back every penny.

Personally I like to think I have higher morales than 'wayward bankers'.

Good luck getting those cowboys to do what they've promised you once you've handed them your money!

If it had not been for the banks your taxes would have been higher long before now. This Govt basically financed its spending on the back of financial services taxation.

Two wrongs dont make a right though.

Also, remember the 40s, 50, 60s and 70s when the Govt bailed out loads of other industries. You would have to accuse many occupations of being corrupt on the same principle. Indeed, you could possibly be working for one of those now. Certainly some people with the same opinion as you will be.

Firstly its not PPI that im trying to sort its my credit card. Just to clear up, its not as simple as avoiding my debt - nothing is black and white as they say. I took out my card in 2004 and am still paying off my debt with very little impact. How can banks "blatantly" rip us off with out us even knowing about it?! God knows how many times they have changed my interest and Im not even sure I know what rate im on now.
I am not ashamed for trying to clear my debt, im playing the banks at there own game and feel I have every right to do so as they havent played by the rules. Fact: I signed an agreement with a set interest rate and expected min payments - they changed it, i didnt agree to any changes. Im sure there are loads of people in exactly the same boat.
Its worth everyone knowing the facts behind the situation before passing judgement.
