I have a claim that was with Kerobo it took from 1st august 2009 to December 21st 2009 to get to the solicitors. The problem you have is the actual staff who seem to change on a weekley basis. Once I managed to pin one person down to deal with the account and only spoke with them, I managed to progress the claim to the solicitors who it is now with. The request for the bank to write off or appose was sent on the 22nd of December so now we are waiting for the reply. I had to in the end threaten kerobo with trading standards and MoJ and this seemed to get them moving. The problem they also had was that they couldnt find my file (paper) and instead of telling me this just kept telling me they were waiting for the bank to reply but the bank had never been contacted. To say they got an earful off me each time I called was an understatement. But they do have some good staff who were the ones who got it moving in the end for me. So you need to be really persisitent with them.

Kerobo are now advertising on our local radio. I couldnt believe they are still pushing the unenforceable loans bit even though all the recent test cases found in favour of the lender (basically wiping out most chances of a successful outcome for the borrower).

If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Which test cases? I thought the publisised test cases were for overdraft charges. I havent seen anything yet for unenforceable loans.

The media coverage has been fairly light on this. BBC ran it only on their webpage.

Ok, today is the last day of reckoning. I've called them and it's the same old story. So.... can anyone recommend a small claims solution? I believe it was mentioned earlier that there are online smal claims. Also I think I will contact the MoJ and all other necessary avenues to nail these !!!!!!!s.

Hi, there is moneyclaim online here
    https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

Never used it so do not know anything about but maybe someone who has will come along and post.;)

Don't forget to make an official complaint to MOJ also. Its another option if they are still trading.

I've sent my claim to them... now I sit and wait.
I actually have an interesting twist to all of this which I will post once I deal with the small claims I have in progress.

... on a side note... is it me or do posts mysteriously vanish from here?
  • I reported Kerobo to the MOJ and got a nice reply from them. Kerobo continue to avoid refunding me my £800 and ignore all calls/emails. I'm sickened by their antics and I hope the MOJ removes their licence.
