My midwife used to be able to tell me if she would be morning or afternoon as she usually had half a day of clinics and then half a day of visits but the weekend people I didn't know when they would come. Part of the reason they can't be that accurate is that things can be unpredictable so they don't know how long each visit will be and also they may change the order they visit if someone needs to be seen sooner. When we had problems with feeding overnight she came first thing in the morning and stayed for about half an hour even though she had clinics in the morning so hadn't been due to visit till the afternoon.

Woohoo, exploding baby (complete with hilarious grunting sounds!) mission completed. Must keep giving her pleanty of water and make sure it doesn't happen again!

I've found a website that does matching baby and daddy sized tshirts you can get printed with your own slogan, so now i'm trying to think of a slogan. (DH's birthday is coming up!). I also found pirate baby clothes, but I'm being self controlled)

Oh is there news on the preggers club then feelie?

I've tried again giving Izzy lunch, but she threw it straight back up again. I don't know if she is poorly or if she just hates avocado that much - she was pulling relly disgusted faces when she tasted it! I have some put aside for tommorrow so we will have to see how we get on with it then I suppose. For now I'm giving lunch up as a bad job. Poor baby!

Im just having five minutes before I go and get 'something' done!

Lexi was 5 weeks old sunday just gone and has always been quite a wide-a-wake baby but she got up this morning at around 8am after barely sleeping last night and has only just gone down in her moses basket but is restless and wriggly! This isnt uncommon for her...Im really cream crackered though! Josh slept most of the time when he was a baby and this is pretty new for me, she is sooo tired but just wont let herself fall asleep, Argh what am I dong wrong?

I feel terrible saying this but it wouldnt be so bad if she was happy chilling in her chair or baby mat for ten minutes but she just wants to be rocked all the time :o I am starting to feel bad for wanting five mins to get the dishes done or a cheeky hour for a sleep!

Sorry for having a little moan but I have never know such a young baby to be able to stay awake for such long periods since birth...

Oooo has she had the baby? Off to look in a sec!

MW been at last - she checked my stitches (first time since they went in on friday!) and apparently I'm doing a great job of keep them clean etc and they are healing well and all looks fine. No sign of bruising there either so should start to settle down soon.
MW wasn't very approachable so didn't really discuss much BFing with her - we'll amble on and I'll rely on my own sources for BF advice ;)

Roo had her heel !!!!! test and was NOT amused with it... she's lost about 240gr of weight which is well within their "safe" range so she's quite happy with that. They will call me on friday to see how we're doing and if we're good they'll not be back till Monday.

Now... off to do a Tesco order and then a nap me thinks :)

Not sure if anyone is the same as me but I like seeing a photo of the person so I can put a face to a name, Krystal is nothing like I imagined her:rotfl:
