Oh AM! Of course you can turn to here... talking/writing stuff down helps to get it straight in your mind if nothing else.
Is there any point suggesting relate or anything like that, or is his mind definitely made up? You sure this isn't "just" a result of pressure of new baby and how that is changing your relationship? I know that ours has changed dramatically, and putting lots of strain on at the moment.... he is very resentful of the fact that a) I'm not earning money, but still try and stop him spending what we don't have and b) that I'm at home with Izzy. If it is something like that then hopefuly you can work it out between you in time?
Also possibly worth bearing in mind that men can get PND too...
Without knowing more detail I've no idea if any of that is in any way helpful, but have some squidges as well, just in case :grouphug:.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Oh, and Feelie, you're doing a great job - expressing 6 times a day, then feeding baby as well! You must be feeding, expressing and changing nappies all day long, no wonder you are struggling with your black moods. I definitely would be too.

Oh AM, turn to us whenever you want to!
I'm sorry things are hard for you, but you can do this. It isn't what you wanted, but you will survive this.
You are a great Mum, you can cope.

(((HUGS))) AM - you can cope, it won't be easy but you can do it.
Please don't take this the wrong way but he hasn't been the most consistent of blokes has he??? I'm probably not being helpful and of course I don't know you or him but maybe some of your friends would tell you that you are better off without him.
Sorry, I obviously only know some bits of what you have told us but...........
can't think of a way to finish that sentence without sounding like a complete and utter cow but do you know what I mean.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
LOL - Benjamin is great at going to sleep but not so great at staying asleep during the day, although he sleeps at night so I shouldn't complain. He tends to have lots of 15-20 minute naps with 45 minutes being his best effort these days.
I sat him in his bouncy chair about 15 minutes ago whilst I [STRIKE]caught up on here [/STRIKE]did a bit of housework and he has just fallen asleep in there :rotfl:I am not moving him...I wonder how long he will last.

This reminds me, anyone seen a nice "I'm the big brother" t-shirt? I think it was 3onitsway that got one for her brood when Violet was due?
I've got bump an all in one from next that says I'm the little brother so want to get them cuteness in matching form
I think i've seen the in Mothercare up to around age 5 - but i got them printed through ebay 'cos I needed age 8 and age 11!
They were presents to the older ones from Violet - she's very clever ebaying from the womb! :rotfl::beer:0 -
Krystal – contrats – she’s adorable!
Sparkle – Violet hardly sleeps at all during the day – but my thinking is the housework can wait, at least she’s sleeping at night. Unless she’s out in the pram or in the car, she’ll only have little 10 minute naps here and there.
Feelie – you’re doing remarkably well! Not many of us (certainly me!) would have lasted a couple of days of expressing!
AM – Hugs! Is it a ‘new dad crisis’? Is he prepared to talk to you about it? Whatever happens, remember you were a wonderful single mum before and you can do it again if you have to!
I've been busy trying to keep up with the flylady tasks - i'm not doing too bad although today the task is the master bedroom. I've tidied it, hoovered and changed the bed - but i've left OH's pile of clothes on the floor at his side of the bed, just to make a point! I think he thinks he doesn't have to do anything because he's at work all day and i'm at home, obviously sitting on my bum all day!
DD (8 1/2) was allowed to go to the pictures with two friends today (both nearly 10) - with no parents. So now she's feeling all grown up and proud of herself. (I was however, only in the Tescos next door to the cinema drinking coffee and eating cake!) :rotfl:
And finally, the Bumbo arrived. Its a success up to now, I think she quite likes to be sat up and able to have a good look around! :T:beer:0
