Has anyone had any experience of Bowen technique or cranial osteopathy? x

DS had cranial osteopathy at the suggestion of a midwife at my baby cafe. I had the practitioner's leaflet out before my HV came round, and she saw it. I expected a sermon about waste of money etc. However, she raved about him, and said one of her patients had taken their daughter to him after months of the child screaming constantly. Within 2 sessions the child had stopped.

I took DS because of his feeding, the day after his treatment he fed in 20 mins flat - up until then it was taking over an hour.
    The IVF worked;DS born 2006.

is there something you always do everyday, like give the boys a bath, or something, that you could take the pill at the same time as that each day, and then learn to associate the 2 in your mind?

Thanks for advice on cranial osteopath and Bowen. I've booked him in for tomorrow with cranial osteopath. We had a good chat. I told him the paediatrician had said it was the worst case he'd seen in years but he didn't sound discouraged. He also said severe reflux is normally associated with difficult pregnancies where the placenta is not functioning as it should from early on. This is exactly what happened to us. He sounds good, I really hope I'm not getting hopes up for nothing. Cost wise £25 per session and he said we would probably need 4-5 sessions ish.
Bruno-I'll let you know how we get on. He also said some babies with milder reflux only need 2 sessions.

That could be really interesting, thanks Lwcus. We're seeing paediatrician again today for follow-up, seems like the medication of the last 6 weeks has been making a big difference; still some vomiting but much less, and a lot of weight gain. Fingers crossed for cranial osteopathy!

Hope all goes well with paediatrician today. Glad the new med is somewhat better. How often do you see the paed? In our area although Dr says return in 6 weeks it'll be more like 12 weeks by time he gets appt. Elijah is 11 months? Hope not too long before he grows out of it.

I've also ordered a book from amazon on reflux so hopefully that will give some more ideas on how to help Sam. I cant let him suffer any longer and on a more selfish note, I need some sleep.
