Don't assume soft boobs=no milk, it just means your supply is evening out to her needs... Rock hard boobs are because of over supply. If she's getting frustrated it could just be that it's not flowing as quick as she'd like or she's emptied one side and a quick go on the other side will sort her out, or maybe this week she just needs a bit more milk than she did last week and she's waiting for your supply to catch up with her demand...

    QUOTE]

Have to agree with this - sometimes in the morning I don't feel "full" at all but LO still has a god feed.

The last time I went for my smear, we had a new nurse just started at the practice - a lovely lady who's husband I work with! I was soooo embarrassed and had stupid thoughts all day that she'd go home and she and hubby would be discussing my lady-bits over dinner. :rotfl:

The last time I went for a smear it took two nurses to get it right - the first lady couldn't reach so the other one had to come along to dig in there :p.

you must have creamy topped milk MrsTine :D well done Roo :D

HV chat yesterday was good. She liked my idea of combining purees and babyled weaning and told me I seemed to be being realistic!!! :rotfl: So we are going with that for now. Off next wednesday to watch the DVD at the health centre on Babyled weaning which will be interesting.

Tomorrow we are going to investigate rhymetime at the local library which is free - so very mse :D

LO doing very well - LuT, your bump pics are lovely - I'm considering posting mine of FB to show off! Then I had better show off LO as well as I haven't formally introduced her to you lot yet :rotfl:

off to do a quick email then bathtime. We going to try the early bedtime and wake for a dreamyfeed for the next wee while to see how we get on........

    Hi all..

3, so sorry to hear about your friend's baby. I don't know what to say.. :(

No joy yet today on the feeding - another sleepy day! :( Am determined to wake him up tonight whether he likes it or not! ;) Will be better after tomorrow cos he'll be in isolation for 48 hours after coming back from Nottingham so we'll be in a room on our own without being overlooked - frosted windows ;) Might go in for all day on Friday and do hours of skin to skin too.

feelie, thanks again for the expressyourselfmums recommendation - the wipes arrived today, 28hrs after ordering :)

Had hearing tests today and all was fine with the first one. Will find out results of the second tonight.

Going to take the car seat and camera tonight so will be back with cute pics later :D

oooh injections???? - GP hasn't suggested injections? she just looks at my blood results an says....levels will pick up eventually keep at it?! not the most helpful. I'm sooo tired all the time.
There are even blood transfusions, but that's quite unusual. Point is, there are ways of upping it quickly, and you might want to ask about them.

aww poor you! I feel your pain - they couldn't reach my coil to get it out and I had a stream of doc's and nurses all brought in to have a poke of my bits :o
You are putting me right off EVER having mine taken out now! It's there for heavy periods not contraception, and even though it's probably 'out of date' I'm still not having periods, and the GP at our practice who 'specialises' in this gets right up my nose so I don't want to go and see her! :rotfl:

Yes, I'm going for a VBAC. Wasn't keen on the idea of induction as I'd read it increased the chances of a rupture, but my consultant says they've got a new 'thing' they use (tablet not gel?) and the results have been great for the last 6 months. He's happy for me to wait as long as I want to as long as me and baby are well. After 40+14 he'll want to see me as a day patient every day, but he assures me I'll def be in labour by 40+21 :eek: It's actually nice to have a consultant who's supportive of you going so far past dates. Apparently he has one of the lowest induction/planned section rates in the area.

It would be an early induction if my BP doesn't behave so I am glad they are going to try. Some just say no to inductions of any sort and I really do not want another section!

In good news, he has put on weight and we've cracked the 4lb barrier - now 4lb 1oz (1.84kg) in fact :D I thought his swelling was coming back (meaning his kidneys aren't working again) but actually that's just him getting chubbier! :o

All those *Pudgy Rhys Vibes* working then? Great news! Hope you enjoy your day trip and it all goes well!
elle, they have started having to give Dylan a dummy to hold in his hand or he has to get a new tube for every feed as he tries to pull it out as soon as they put it in !!!

He knows what he wants!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm hoping to get DS2 toilet trained by August. We got there for a few weeks then he got viral diarrhoea and it went to hell. Just trying to work out if he will be able to have 'sensations' or if it will be hourly 'just in case' trips that don't really seem to work. Or should I just leave it??

And he is 4, you think it's bad getting looks when you take a 3yr old through to get changed, try taking a very tall 4 yr old through!

Luckily mine fell out all on it's own... or went elsewhere :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Though I'm with you, mine was so bad getting put in I said I wanted to be knocked out when it was time to remove it!

You'd think the wedding ring would give it away wouldn't you? That reminds me, Alice has a prescription for baby piriton (sp?) and the latest one the pharmacy put a label on it which said Mrs Alice C. Doen't really inspire me with confidence since they're supposed to check the doctor has the does right and everything that they didn't notice her age.

    That's great.

OH picked up a prescription for his brother ... Mrs Neil B.

3 - sorry to hear your news :(
