Feelie that's excellent that things are getting better with you, babe and OH.

MM and Elle hope babies are well today.

Can't remember what else I was going to say, so hope everyone is well today. El is down for a nap so I have peace for a while.

I married at 17 and people still assume I'm a Miss. All my scan pictures say Miss on them!
You'd think the wedding ring would give it away wouldn't you? That reminds me, Alice has a prescription for baby piriton (sp?) and the latest one the pharmacy put a label on it which said Mrs Alice C. Doen't really inspire me with confidence since they're supposed to check the doctor has the does right and everything that they didn't notice her age.
Don't suppose I mentioned it, but since DS has started smiling, him and OH are getting on great. He is back at work and things are back on track. :)
    That's great.

Do you get people assuming you aren't married? When I did supply teaching (aged 25/26 so older than you) I never knew how to introduce myself when I arrived because of that. If I introduced myself as Mrs C it seemed a bit weird and over formal given that I was younger than everyone else but if I introduced myself as Susan C then they would take me to the classroom and introduce me as Miss C. One person even told me I was too young to be married.

I've just googled and in 2007 the average age for a first marriage was 29.5 for women.
All the time, I feel a bit silly but usually when asked my name say Mrs Sami H :p
What really annoys me is when I'm out and about I get funny looks and occasionally I hear someone talking about me/us because I look young  they assume I'm a teen mum or something - even if I was I'd get annoyed tho Chris is brighter and better behaved than lots of Children from more 'usual' families so I'm obviously doing something right :D

It'll be my 5th Wedding Anniversary in a few months, and we are going away for a baby free weekend!

Don't suppose I mentioned it, but since DS has started smiling, him and OH are getting on great. He is back at work and things are back on track. :)
Glad to hear it :D xx

Just looked through my bookmarks and bizarrely I only seem to have one bookmark:
http://babyledweaning.blogware.com/ It has some useful links in the right sidebar.

The wikipedia page also has good links.

Googling comes up with quite a bit.

I also joined this BLW yahoo group which was helpful. I think they also have a directory of links.

    Hope some of that's useful.

Thanks for that MFD and SusanC, I'll start having a read up.

Eloise weighs 10lb 8oz today (16 weeks) which means that she's put on 4oz each week for the last fortnight, hopfully that will get the HV off my back for a while

Just come across some info about baby screenings at Cineworld cinemas. They call them Cinebabies, take place on a Monday morning but only at 3 of their cinemas - Chester, Dundee and Haverhill. No good for me, but could be for others? The idea is that you get to watch a film with baby under 18 months (a new release, not necessarily a U) in a dedicated screening. Not sure I'd take my LO to Terminator though!!

Krystal - you mentioned re-useable wipes a while back, have you sorted them?

I've got ones from weenotions, and they're very good :-)

Has anyone done baby led weaning? Do you know any websites where I can get more info about it?

It's been mentioned twice but babyledweaning.com I go on the forum there and it's fab! I've adored blw, it's slow but it's so easy! And hilarious!
