MM, go back to bed and sleep while you still can!!

Thanks Sami, not done anything further than think about wipes and google for recipes... But I'll get there eventually I'm sure ;)

I'm off out in a min to fetch Aimee from school, she's got a kidney scan this afternoon then we're going to head to town, I might treat her to a McDs before swimming... Or a greggs sausage roll if I'm feeling too tight ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

maz - MFD posted the results of sun cream testing from Which a few days ago.
PP mag have done a 'mum's test' but didn't give them marks  Malibu was best value buy but I think that was on the bad list from which...
Banana boat kids powder-dri spf30+ was the 'best buy'

I personally use nivea baby at home, it was BOGOF in tesco when I got it.
At my mum's Chris had a ambre soliel (sp?) spray one no probs with either of them
Just make sure you check the star rating for UVA as well as SPF ;)

I like the simpsons after sun by safer sun, I got it from tesco Chris loves that it's the simpsons and I love the scrummy smell :D

Thanks for all your suggestions. The heat probably has a big part to play in it. I'll strip him off next time and see what happens. Unfortunately we're in a room without an opening window - it's like a room surrounded by other rooms and corridors but almost all the walls are glass so the nurses can see from one room to the next iyswim.

He's now on 3hrly feeds (of 38ml) so I've been going in for half an hour before a feed is due so we have time to attempt it and then still tube feed him on time if we don't get anywhere. Today's nurse has paged the leading breastfeeding midwife for another mum so she's going to ask her to come see me too in case there's anything she can suggest. I think he just gets too cosy and falls asleep! Maybe I'm cuddling him for comfort more than holding him for feeding..

In good news, he has put on weight and we've cracked the 4lb barrier - now 4lb 1oz (1.84kg) in fact :D I thought his swelling was coming back (meaning his kidneys aren't working again) but actually that's just him getting chubbier! :o

Have got the changing bag half packed. Going to take it with me this afternoon (next feed is at 2pm) and add to it then check through with the nurse. Need to include extra feeding tubes as he's gone through six in four days - well and truly mastered the knack of pulling them out!

elle, they have started having to give Dylan a dummy to hold in his hand or he has to get a new tube for every feed as he tries to pull it out as soon as they put it in !!!

Elle - it all sounds good :D
I don't know much about it but half of the day time feeds Edgar has only last a few mins he goes a bit mad feeding really fast then falls asleep as soon as the flow slows down, I can usually get him to have a bit more by rubbing his cheek in a circular motion but not alot, we've had no green poops so I assume he's getting enough ...
(sorry I don't think that is any help now :p)

Does anyone have a mothercare store card?
I can't find my bill and I'm sure its due any day now (if not already passed :o) If anyone has one can you tell me the bank details for an online payment and if the card number is the ref you use?? (If its not I'm a bit stuffed :undecided can you pay it in store?)

I got domino's as a bit of a treat, ate the wedges and chicken but Edgar has been refusing to be parted from my chest ever since so pizza is still in the kitchen along with my cake and OH has gone to bed without thinking to ask if I wanted him to get me some of mine!

    Thanks, I think :D
when do you think I'm no longer 'young'?? I'm 25 next time that's still young, right?
grr @ OH!! you're younger than me, i thought you were older with all your wisdom

Age is a bit of a sore subject over here. I went 30 last week, although TBH it doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would. I'd still consider myself 'young' though as DH is nearly 38!!

We got bad news from up north last night. Friends baby who was born at 28 weeks on Friday, passed away yesterday. Baby's dad/OH's best friend called last night - sounded very matter of fact, but obviously shocked. How on earth can people recover from something so tragic?

Ooh Dominoes, we had that on Friday as it was 50% off if you spent £30, it was lovely although we have decided that we can do something similar using Aldi and Mr T's.....

OH's special cooking talent is getting a standard Cheese & Tom pizza form supermarket, and customising it into a Dominos! It actually works and I prefer his to Dominos (although I won't tell him that!).
He's making them tonight, with Ikea meatballs, some sort of chilli cheese, jalapenos & mustard.........it sounds horrible like that doesn't it!?

I've just finished my listings on ebay - 48 items in total (i did half yesterday!). :j

I suppose now I should go and get washed and dressed! I'm being extra slummy this morning. DD went to school on her bike with her friend and friends mum, I was determined to finish the ebay listings - so I had no reason to get dressed!
