Don't know what has happened today, it just seems to have clicked. Fingers crossed we can keep it up.
:T:j I'm so pleased for you both! I have tears in my eyes:o
Caz - i'm so sorry things have turned bad, I have nothing useful to add except I hope you and the kids are ok xxx
3onitsway - Mothercare have some mattresses in store but it's pot luck whether they'll have to one you want - I had to get one off a display bed (it was in the wrapper)
:rotfl:I'm watching Micheal McIntyre's show and there's a scouse comedian talking about warrington, Fritha have you seen it?0 -
Sami - Don't mention MM! I'm annoyed, I accidentally deleted last weeks one from my V+ box. Grrr!
Tss - Ouchie! Hope you can get your toe sorted tomorrow. Is it very painful? What will they do with it? Do you have a Walk-In centre near by, perhaps that would cut out the A&E wait?
Fritha - That is so cute! She has such a cute smile.
Lwcus - How are you coping on such little sleep? Does LO take long to settle back down?
Curious George - did you get the bread out?!
Caz - how are you feeling? Even if old HV can't offer any support, she'll know of someone sympathetic who you can talk to. Please get in touch with her, or think about going to your GP. Hope you've had a good rest.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

evening ladies,
caz - i too just wanted to give you a hug and hope you find a way to make you happy, whatever you decide that is.
feelie - i am so very pleased for you and toby. i try and put my baby girl to my breast when she is like that but still wont take to it. seems expressing what i can is still the way to go. still umming and ahing about going to the breastfeeding clinic at the hospital for their take on it but worry they will moan cause she is 12 weeks now.
my baby girl is still fighting to when it is time to go to sleep. night time is the worst. sometimes during the day she wont struggle, but most nights she will. she gets so overtired sometimes it is heartbreaking to see her like it. i am trying to get her to go off before she gets to that point so only have a little bit of fighting.
i cant belive she is 12 weeks today. it has all gone by so quickly.
i have to speak to my work this week about KIT days. The HR person (who is one of the partners of the firm) has no idea about them. She thinks they are for training only. I have to go into the office this week for an appraisal and do not want to waste a whole KIT day for a 10 minute meeting. Why are things never straight forward??0 -
Feelie, fantastic news
:D:D It's so much easier to feed straight from the source isn't it... Plus he will be doing wonders for your milk supply... Babies are so much better at getting milk from a breast than a pump!
We've had an eventful day, there was a childrens event at church this morning so I took Aimee a walk down there... She really enjoyed herself and Caitlyn got fussed over by all the clucky women... The pastors wife was shocked to see her, she didn't even realise I was pregnant... The walk back has broken me though... My back has all seized up again... Did plan to walk down for a service tomorrow but think I might give it another week... I can't wait until I can walk somewhere without being in agony later!
We had friends round this afternoon for a barbecue, the men did the cooking, us women watched the children trying to destroy all Aimee's new garden toys... We've just had some fantastic bargains from Tesco Direct... A hammock for £3.67, a swinging seat for £10 and a bouncy castle for £15!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

ooh forgot earlier CG I think your only option is the medical peeps with those shiny light magnifying thingys and long tweezers
Feelie - I think MM will still be on the iplayer through virgin
fritha - Thank you, I'll see if my friend can make it too - kill 2 birds with 1 stoneI'm yet to meet her lovely little girl who was born 2 weeks before Edgar, see if she's suitable girlfriend material for Ed :rotfl:
tsss - whist avoiding giving medical advice, they tend to just leave broken toes, so if it were me I would bother sitting in A&E although I now have a wonky toe from when I broke mine :undecided
 some ejit is playing loud music from their car outside while waiting for someone off a train - just bog off with ur chavvy bass!!
Off to try n sleep didn't get much last night coz Edgar decided to skip his usual bit of sleep between 12 and 2 and would only settle with my nip in his mouth  not feeding or sucking just there - the little monkey.
oh and I bit the bullet and fed Edgar in the in-laws lounge  BIL was in the garden with Chris so didn't have to face that and FIL just walked in and said oh I'll leave you to it and wondered off *phew*0 -
Argh, Caitlyn has been asleep all evening when she's usually awake and feeding a lot... Looks like I'm not going to get much sleep tonight... And if she doesn't wake up soon my right boob is going to explode!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... In the spirit of NOT giving medical advice - toe could be dislocated instead of broken
In which case A&E would be a good idea as they can "re-locate" it and pain will go away
Anyway - not meaning to be funny but any injury should be seen to by a doctor and I shall share a little story about why...
About 6-7 years ago now I think it was - might be a bit less - a friend of mine managed to hurt her ankle, wasn't anything major but it swelled a little and a a bit sore, just a sprain really... so she went back to the house she was lodging in after speaking to her boyfriend on the phone telling him she was going for a bath to help with the ankle, it was a little sore and bruised, but nothing too serious...
The friends who's house she was renting a room in found her in the bathroom on the floor. She had her bath and it turns out that there was a bloodclot in the foot, hence the bruising, and the warm bath dislodged it somehow... She barely made 20...
So no matter how trivial an injury seems - please go have it checked out... You just never know and I can assure you that there are a lot of people who wishes she'd have listened and gone to let the doc have a look instead of telling us "oh it's just a sprain, it'll be fine..."DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Mrs Tine that is such a sad story ...(and got me a little worried)
Foot not too badly swollen so pretty sure its not a break (although to be fair as I've never broken anything I wouldn't know what it feels like) still sore though so will be at a&e tomorrow if no improvements.
Thanks for the concern.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0
