You're so meeeeeean! If it helps I've been wearing that (in rotation with two others) for eight months continuously and washing it with coloureds (what?! No one sees them... usually!). I now have a lovely new black one from bravissimo to abuse and the [STRIKE]white[/STRIKE] grey ones are relegated to night-time and hats!

    fritha,

I'm guilty of the 'wash everything together' now! I used to separate, but am trying to do cloth nappies, and we need to do laundry so frequently that there isn't time to build up a whole load of whites or coloureds.

So my bras are grey too...'cept the black ones!

    sorry I teased you! ;)

I never bother with seperating colours, just bung everything in together. That is why all the baby clothes are bright, nothing white! DS is wearing a Mr T babygrow at the moment.

Phoned the BF line, I've got to stick my thumb in his mouth! She thinks he is clamping down and his jaw is a bit rigid, so we are going to practise. Fingers crossed!

I need to buy some more bras, I seem to have increased in size again, my H cups are too small. Eek!

Hi Feely, sorry I didn't get straight back to you, well done for ringing (just out of interest, did you get through to someone local or was it a scottish lady?) I hope the information she gave you helps :)

Surprisingly, even though she slept all evening and it took me an hour and 2 nappy changes to wake her enough to feed her last night, Caitlyn only woke for 1 extra feed in the night and went straight back off each time! Have expressed some milk this morning and hubby has managed to feed her about half an ounce by bottle...She wasn't really that hungry because her lifted her up to burp her and she fell straight asleep on his shoulder... I wonder if I might of got lucky this time round and actually got one that sleeps?!

Caz, it's highly unlikely that your milk has dried up over night hun, I think it's probably that Erin is picking up on how you're feeling, or maybe you're so tense it's affecting your let down... Is there any way you can just go and relax a little with her? Maybe just go and shut yourselves in the bedroom for an hour?

  • the bread is still there, i was hoping that it would start to dry up over night and fall out... no such luck,

am going to stick him in the bath now, and if that doesnt work we shall try the oil thing tonight (and probably bath him again) if that doesnt work... its the doctors tomorrow (i would take him today but your not allowed to be ill on a sunday round here... nobody cares)

he is currently being told off in the kitchen by daddy for trying to stick more food in there... im at a complete loss to know what to do?

OMG how cheeky are you madam :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but it did make me giggle

CG my chums LO put pasta in his ear and she took him to hospital they looked and said it was too far in, sent her home and asked her to come back next day and it had dislodged enough for them to pull it out. It might be worth a call to NHS24 08454 24 24 24 see what they say

It could be that she's not really hungry and just after the attention, or maybe your supply has evened out a bit over the last coule of days and that's why you can't feel them filling up... Or maybe she's going through a bit of a growth and she's just trying to up your supply.. Or maybe she's started teething and her mouth is sore...There really are a whole load of different things it could be but try not to get too upset by it, you have enough stress on your plate... Just carry on as you normally do, feeding on demand when she'll take it...
