http://www.lakeland.co.uk/dye-grabber/F/C/washing-laundry/product/20647 is fab for mixed washing loads- helps when your OH makes a hash of separating the colours!
I didn't find it that good, if I didn't get the washing out straight away it would leave dye marks on anything it was touching.

My Philips Avent Isis Electric pump conked out after 6 weeks, and the second one was on its way out. They aren't build for exsclusive expressing.

Check out these two links comparing pumps:
    http://www.breastfeed-essentials.com/pumps101.html
    http://babylovesyourmilk.com/

    Great info on pumping here:

I've got a Symphony now, and it is so much better than anything you can buy. They don't recommend anything else for exclusive expressing really, it is the best for maintaining a supply.

You can hire from the NCT and here:

She's wrong. They can be used for anything which enables you to Keep In Touch. Try a google, can't find a link for you right now as DH is breathing down my neck for us to go out ...

So jealous caz, I love storms!

We just had two dirty nappies!

Been reading up, seems that clampdown reflex is common in early babies, another sign Toby wasn't fully baked. With his size, fur, undescended testicles and feeding problems, I definitely think he wasn't fullterm. Would be interesting to know. Might explain the negative pregnancy tests too.

    Hi there!

Been watching but not chatting much as everything seems to be going well here...

I've a couple of questions tho:

Tummy time: is anyone else's LO frustrated by this? Ferg is really happy on his back and will explore the world, play with his hands, coo and gurgle for hours. But on the same baby gym on his front (even with the option of flashy lights and music, gets grumpy after only a few mins.... Any thoughts?

argos £35 car seat: anyone know how to tighten the straps on this, he's dangerously floppy!

    boots brand organic baby rice:
can anyone advise me what it says on the back of the pack, did a big online order and the writings been ripped at the back! Still I have nappies sorted for the next year :)

caz how are things, you sound amazingly chirpy!

    Love to all,

    Weezl xxx

Wow girls! THink that's just taken me 10 pages to catch up!

Caz - big hugs. Hope you can find the energy to focus on you and figure out what you want now. Of course, I don't know, but now you're "even", and if you want to, perhaps you have a better chance of working things out?

Feelie - you sound so upbeat at the moment, it's lovely :T And hurrah to the pair of you for persevering and getting on with BF :T

We had a mad day yesterday with the BBQ for Imogen's half day and my 30th tomorrow (). 30+ people (parents plus toddlers and babies) between 11am and 1pm, then another 20 or so from 2pm. It was left with just my bro, SIL, two step-sisters and one step-brother in law. Bro and wife were staying over and sisters left around 9pm. I went to bed not long after with DH in a right state. What is it about cooking all day and not eating enough yourself? He'd drunk steadily (real ale, good job or he'd have been really trashed) but is memory pretty much stops aroun 6.30pm :rotfl:

I found him asleep on the sofa downstairs around midnight and managed to get him to come to bed. Wouldn't be so funny but he's got a massive lump on his head and no idea how he got it.

Bruno - pmsl about the brass band. Contrary little beggars aren't they?

Sue - thanks for the New Toddler Taming recommendation. I've got it from the library and it's a really good read. Even if it would have been more relevant a year ago.

KIT days - I thought I just took them back as time in lieu? If they could pay me a bit that would be good. Just found out the girl who was meant to be covering my mat leave has resigned  so might offer to go in and do another handover when they get someone else sorted out.

Imogen's currently sliding down her slide on her tummy. Getting braver by the minute! My bump has dropped so have booked for my eye-lashes dying - big priority for post-baby pics! Am seeing consultant on Tuesday and hopefully he'll agree to most of what I want. Just a query over actually giving birth in water apparently, but we'll see what he thinks.

Sorry for the ramble. I think I've been in detox!
