oh caz, i wish i was near you so i could come and give you a hug instead of dodgy ones :grouphug:

IMO you are wonderwoman for the way you cope with 5 kids  especially with erin being so tiny and demanding, you WILL get through this honestly. going to your dads for a bit sounds like a good idea, it sounds like you could do with getting away from it all for a bit x

Em - if you'll have less money going back to work then aren't you better off not going back? (sorry if I've mis-understood)
We're better off with me not working because I'm 'just' an admin girl so having been out of the game for 3yrs (can't beleive how quick it's gone!!) I would be lucky to earn 12k pa for full time now and full time childcare x2 would come to about 10k pa then add on the petrol/parking etc there's just no point *sigh* This country is all topsy turvy!
I miss the adult part of working but my time with Chris has gone so fast that its nothing in the grand scheme of things :)
    gorgeous pics sami!

we need to have some money coming in cos we cant afford to have just OH's wages so some is better than none  i could work both OH's days off but i dont want to have seth growing up with no days as a family IYSWIM? what i need to do is find a mummy friend in the same situation so we can look after each others babies one day a week to save on childcare ;) if i can find a mummy friend i can work one of OH's days off, use the mummy friend one day and only pay childcare one day and that would be ideal! if i can work 3 days and pay childcare for 1 then we can have £10 a month more than we do now, we can then retire

seth slept really well last night, i actually feel human today :D he fell asleep on OH at 8pm and wouldnt be woken so we dream fed him at 11pm which we hadnt done before, it does actually seem to work cos he slept til 3am in the dreaded basket when i just put him between us, i couldnt be bothered to get up :o then he slept til 8am and we were both up at 7am so we had a nice hour to ourselves for once :D

Roo and daddy are still sleeping upstairs... :)
She wouldn't settle last night so we didn't get to sleep till about 1am but she did sleep through till 5:30 - then refused to go back to sleep till about 6:30 in MY bed I hasten to add :) and after 2 nappies - changed her dirty nappy put her in her basket and loads of grumping 15 mins later PHRRRRRRRT! cue nappy no. 2 :)
So I've been up since 7 if not earlier... took the hound out for a good long walk leaving Roo and daddy in bed as she had now taken my warm spot :rotfl:
Then I expressed about 5 fl oz and cleaned the sofa's - the one I sit on had milk stains every where on it so have cleaned and protected it (it's leather) which took about 45 minutes - mainly because I had to dig them out first :rotfl:

ah - daddy and roo are up :) Daddy deposited Roo with mummy and has gone for shower... poor snuffling Roo... :(

    hugs for you caz xxxx

emlou we do a dreamfeed and it's working really well for us, we put fergie down at 7, he chats to himself til about 7.20, and sometimes has the dummy for a bit, then we very gently put him in nighttime nappy and dreamfeed at 10.30. He's been going through til 6-7.30 ish for 4 weeks now.

    Hugs Caz - i've pm'd you.

Morning everyone else - its a lovely day here.

I've got to go and queue outside DD's dance school to get tickets for the annual show. Its a lovely dance school - but they have no organisational skills! You can buy tickets between 10 and 3. I queued last year from 10 and still ended up with back row seats, so i'm in no rush today. Some mad parents must have been there in the early hours with tents and sleeping bags!

We had a very unsettled night last night! It was like we'd gone back in time and she was waking every 2 hours again. I really think she needs to be in her cot now! As OH was 'too busy' to come with me to Ikea for the cot the other day - he's obviously getting the blame now for my lack of sleep! :rotfl:Lucky for him he's in work today.

I was just about to order (to collect) a cot from Argos - only to find that they don't have mattresses available to collect, they are home delivery only.
Anyone know where stocks mattresses? We've got Argos/Mothercare/Tesco Home all local. We wouldn't be able to get to Ikea til Tuesday - unless we go tomorrow with all three kids in tow.

Oh Caz I am so sorry, I really don't know what to say...I wish I was closer I would look after your kiddies so you could have some time.

I think it would be a great idea to go and stay with your dad if he will help with the kids for a little while for you.

Please get help from someone, you really need to get the kids sorted so you can have some time to sort out what you are going to do.

    Mel x
