How ? What tariff are you on?
When we were with BT I think it was "friends and family package".Our quarterly bill was never under £110..(also used for business) .
We changed to Talk-talk and we are on "talk UK anytime package" and our bill is never more than £22 per month.....I can only speak from personal experience but we have had good service so far from Talk-Talk.......( that'll put the mockers on it):D:rolleyes:0 -
Just got the dreaded letter this morning, going up from £9.99 to £19.99 !!!!!!!!!
They can Kiss my you know what, according to samknows my local exchange is 02 Enabled,so gonna give them a call then call/email Orange to ask for my Mac Code.0 -
On a side note for anyone with an orange mobile contract with a UMA enabled phone such as BB 8900 you can add the Orange Unique bundle which gives you an extra 1000 mins for calling 01,02&03 numbers and Orange numbers which you make over your live box. When you have this bundle applied you can ask to move onto their old Broadband Unlimited package for the grand cost of £5. Broadband Unlimited gains you a second home phone line with free calls 24/7 to 01,02&03 numbers as well as 30 international countries again 1000mins and your line rental doesn't move over to Orange. Although unlimited there is a fair usage cap of 40GB for the Broadband.. An amazing deal and you don't have to be in an unbundled exchange.0

Just remember to factor in linerental (£11.25) and calls. O2 dont do linerental and calls. Depending on your phone bill, you can save a lot if you go on a inclusive pack.0 -
I've had the letter today, ours is just a £2 increase from £17.99 to £19.99 but I am looking elsewhere. I've known for ages that our broandband/phone bills are too high as our phone is with BT and about £18 a month. WE've been with Orange since they were Freeserve years ago.Just a small point boys and girls; the letter from Orange gives you an 0844 number to call which is costly - use their free number 0800.9801492 which will get you through to the UK customer service centre, who will do the spiel and then transfer you to the people sorting out literally hundreds of migration requests.:D
Thanks for this. :beer:Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

Your exchange may be on LLU with Orange and therefore you wont pay any rise. Check by going to samknows.
Either that or you are lucky all non LLU people are having there price put up.
Is Your BB Plus is £9.99 + 11.25 line rental + calls ? you may save more by going on the max service with calls included.. depends on how much you spend on phone calls.0 -
