How can I find out if this affects me?0

Another problem with orange, so i was wondering if anyone had any advice?
I upgraded my phone nearly a month ago and because my phone was quite expensive i took out orange care as the excess was only £15 to replace my phone if it was damaged, stolen etc etc. The cost for this is £6 per month. I have just received a letter to say that the excess is being increased from £15 to £50!! I am unable to cancel my agreement until i have had it for 4 months. How is it there are able to change the terms of the contract but i cant? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks0 -
They can't - period (AFAIK). If any terms change to the consumer's material detriment then the supplier must allow the contract to be ended with no penalty.
