I'm really struggling to find the MAC code on the site too... the last option under 'my account' is 'find out more about speed'....
can anyone help a dimbo like me find it?0 -
If by last option you mean the options on the left hand side of the page, the last option entitled "connection solutions" brings the error message:
Not Found
The requested URL /documentDisplay.do was not found on this server.0 -

If your code is there it'll be the next option after "find out more about speed" and simply says "your MAC code".
Not sure how long it takes to appear there but I asked for my code last Wednesday and it was there by Sunday which was when I first found out about this.0 -
Thanks scobo, found my MAC code at last.0

I ordered PO package 7th July through Topcashback, got confirmation by email 8th July, further confirmation 9th to say I will be going live on 22nd. I was away last week, the router was here on my return Sunday. Just hoping all is as straightforward when I try to set it up tomorrow 22nd. Haven't received a 'welcome pack' - whatever that is, anyone? If you haven't received your router yet you need to contact them, because they will probably be charging you from your official start date. Fingers crossed for an easy transition. I hate all this faff!!!
You can get £40 cashback for PO Broadband via Cashbackkings.

Still to recieve the letter from Orange with the price increase - is it because I've linked my broadband account to my Orange mobile phone?
Cheapest price on Orange is £4.18 a month for home max + £10.50 line rental.
Then need to add on £7.83 if not LLU and £9.79 if broadband account not linked to an orange mobile.
Worst case it would come to the £32.30 which I'm hearing about but will I only be paying the £22.51?
Even better if someone lived in an LLU region would they pay £14.68 a month?
Maybe more questions than answers.0 -

Phoned them to ask what's happening. Apparently the order didn't go through the system as it was duplicated ! so all this time waiting and nothing was happening.
The help service was good and they sorted it- Mind you I have to wait another 2weeks again as essentially its a new order. Hope the MAC and bank stuff works OK. My 30days is over now with Orange + The service goes live on the Orange billing date so hope thats no issue also.0 -

Poor you. At least its sorted now. Was dreading today as it is the 'live' day. Remembering what a hassle I had trying to link up the Orange livebox, expected to be here still trying next week, with at least six tries and four expensive helpline calls - as happened with the dratted livebox. Instead, all incredibly straighforward, and here I am using my brand new PO router - which, I have to say, is a darn sight smaller and easier to use! With a directional aerial which you can move to improve the signal! Also, because we are in a dip (never been able to use a freeview box as can't get a signal) the orange was very slow. This is not brilliant but is at least a little quicker. From download at 1.77 to 2.93 and upload from 0.35 to 0.37. Does anyone know if it is possible to improve on this by any means?
Anyway, hope everyone else moving to PO has such a hassle free changeover. Hopefully the billing will be as easy. :beer:0 -
Migrated to Plusnet today via phone call. As we are non LLU we cannot get the £5.99 each month for 18 months, only the 3 x £5.99 and 15 x £11.99 (thanks BT).
But asked for and got given first 3 months free, just need to keep check that that is what actually happens now!0
