ummm is this not the thread we on??? Im lost. my little head is fried!

    Cas x

Someone moved it over to this one as it was posted on another thread by a new user asking about themobs
  • Hi Cas, dont give up. As long as you sent the stuff to them on time - even though they may have lost your paperwork or not received it, you acted in good faith. Its only £30 to make a claim with Claim Online - surely its worth getting some of your £600 back?

And thanks to all you lovely MSErs, cos as soon as they don't pay out my first cashback claim I'm going straight to the small claims court and no messin!:A

Themobs.com are the WORST mobile company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

I had the same rip off as someone else... they advertise a 3 mobile at £2.99 per month line rental and dont mention ANYWHERE that you pay full whack then make a claim for your money back.

When the contract came through I was so shocked, I cant afford that as I had ordered 2 mobiles for me and my other half.

I emailed them and told them I want to cancel the contracts in the cooling off period, they didnt get back to me after 2 days so I emailed again, 3 days later no reply.

So I rang them... I have never spoken to such a bunch of untrained monkeys! They kept telling me they never received my emails, even though I explained to them I had them in my sent items and my email shows me that a mail has been delivered and opended!!

Asked to speak to a manager, typically all in meetings. Asked for a call back to be told they cant make outbound calls... never heard so much crap in my life!

I sent them another email rather a nasty one too! Never got any replies!

I ended up calling 3 and explained the situation. I told them I had cancelled the contracts but the mobs weren't having it so 3 sent me everything to send the phones back to 3.. not heard a thing since.

The company are rip off merchants, my advice would be to not touch them!

It was posted on another thread as person asked if anyone knew about mobs for cashback then someone merged it with this thread.

Also just found out that i can't use moneyclaim for small claim against themobs as i live in Scotland.
  • Any one had problems getting money back from the mobs.com? I have!
  • DON'T TRUST PHONEBOX DIRECT.
i have been with them a year and put all the claims in at the right time and still awaiting for the money, i have rang them and sent letters, all i have been told that my claim is been dealt with, but surely it does not take a year. so i have lost £360 so much for the cash back deal so i wont be trusting another company with the cash back deal again.

You should use https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk cost £30 and you will get it back with your cashback amount too, plus any other expenses incurred chasing them over the year. It is not difficult to put in a claim, we'll help you if required.
