    Hi all,
    I am in the process of trying to claim my 2nd cashback for me and my husband from themobs. I managed to get my 1st cashback but my husband didn't.
    The first time I think I just became a nuisance. Emailed chriswray at themobs, and info at themobs numerous times, building up to several a day. 3 were actually helpful and phoned them too. Kept a stash of all the emails in case I needed to pursue it further.
    I would be happy to join in any group claim etc.

    I have just emailed again as to wheres my promised cash-back.

    Still waiting after the 28 days so court action will be summoned first thing Monday morning.:eek:

    Hi all - finally got my first cash back - after some 6 months and a county court demand. Again - backdated cheque did not pay for CC costs or any out of pocket expenses I am claiming. This will continue. And also sent in my final claim now - oh what joy.

    I had a call from CAB and they didnt sound very promising to be honest they said to me not to hold my hopes up :mad:
  • im at my wits end ere. gone thru all of what you have gone thru, but to no avail. i didnt keep any photocopys of the stuff i sent, except for the delivery notes. rang three they replied twice and sent an email saying "

The agreement you have entered into with 3 is for the provision of network services and while we may provide new customers with reduced line rental offers from time to time, these will be clearly detailed on the relevant monthly bills. Any additional incentives are the sole responsibility of the third party retailer concerned.

    The terms and conditions of your agreement with this retailer do not form any part of your contractual agreement with 3 and we have no influence on how these are maintained. I would therefore suggest that you contact your retailer Mobile Solutions for further information. Should you fail to gain a satisfactory response from the retailer, I would advise you to contact your local Trading Standards Authority and request their assistance.

    so there we have it, 3 have bowed out. i cant really contact watchdog, TS or anyone else. Just lost 600 quid :(

    Why can't you contact TS or watchdog or working lunch as i am definately going to contact them all as i was promised cashback over a month ago

    Have emailed them this morning saying if cashback isn't paid by Friday then definate small claims action will follow plus i will contact TS cab , watchdog & working lunch as any bad publicity will not be welcome either by the mobs & also 3 network as they can't just say take it up with retailer as they are the network who are saying that this retailer is ok , so 3 must take steps to stop them selling their phones or are they not bothered about letting this company shift their phones even after so many of their customers complaining about the mobs.
  • i cant go to TS or watchdog cus i have no proof. like an idiot i trusted them and didnt keep copies of post i sent. havent a leg to stand on. the moneys gone so i dont think i have a hope now. put it down to experience n will move on. and do my best to educate people on the mobs!!
