Love it ! Cheaper and quicker than doing the equivalent in the main oven and a lot easier to clean.
Ideal backup for a main oven or if you need extra capacity to cater for lots of people e.g.xmas.
Got mine from Asda for just under £50, but JML (the manufacturers) have them on offer at their website for only £29.95 at the moment.

I have just had mine delivered as I saw this last week. Went through quidco too so got £1.74 cashback that has already tracked.
My oven is awful as the door dosen't shut properly so cooking in it is very hit and miss, after reading how good these are on here I ordered and it is a good size, have to say I am impressed.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -
So, I killed my oven. The knob broke off right in my hand! Luckily I was turning it off as is happened. It's unfixable, so until I can find/afford a new cooker, I hoped some of you lovely Ladies could give me some ideas what I can cook for a family of 5 just on the hob and a rather pathetic grill that doesn't heat all over.
I don't usually fry anything, but I guess I might have to. One son will not eat egg, apart from in quiche. But apart from that we're not a fussy lot.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!Unfortunately,

When I was a student and had an awful oven, I stuck to doing different pastas and curries on the hob, so you could try a few of those. Hopefully someone will come along and give you some more meals suitable for families.0

Rice dishes, including risotos, grilled chops/steaks/burgers/sausages with boiled or mashed potatoes. Delia's sausage casserole is only of my favourites (just put the lid on on the pan, no need to use the oven)."Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart. Have you got a griddle pan? or george forman type grill? great for doing flattened out chicken thighs, steaks, chops etc...
I second the slow cooker idea as you can cook whole pieces of meat. You could also try pot roasting on the hob. bbc good food . com have loads of recipes.
Poached fish can be done in a frying pan with a lid (no lid? use foil).
Good luck.

The list is endless x0
