Meal ideas with no oven? :)

My cooker packed up again just before christmas and though an inconvenience, we manage quite well considering.

We have a combi microwave, an electric wok (not a very good one, everthing sticks to it, where the lining has been scraped off over time), a slow cooker and a very dodgy toaster that barely works and needs ditching.

We never eat take aways and we almost all homemade, from scratch meals. You just have to be organised and work out how to get the best use out of each of these appliances. For example, my slow cooker is about 6 litres. I make a huge meal in it such as chilli, bolognese, soup, casserole, curry...and there are always portions left over for the freezer. D this a couple of times a week and you will soon have a good freezer stock of home made ready meals.
