I have my PAC code but to be honest 3 have probably the best offer for me - the E63 with 75 mins, unlimited text, internet and email for £15. Should I just wait for the retentions call and see if I can get this? Would they be likely to improve that?

no. use your pac to go to somewhere like virgin mobile. then buy the above contract through quidco.

you will get £32.50 quidco, you can also to refer a friend which means you will get another £30, and when you buy the contract you can get a £20 accessory voucher.

I cancelled last month, all's gone through and i've had my final paperwork through, along with the difficult to understand final bill. Thing is I don't see how i'm supposed to pay any final balance off, checked online banking and they cancelled the direct debit at their end.

Do i need to do anything? Sorry if this has already been covered

Was there not a tear-off giro credit slip at the bottom of the bill to pay it with?
If not it should explain all your usual payment methods on the back of the bill.

Got a problem - thought I'd got out of the contract easy !

I'm sure I read earlier in this thread when people starting leaving in droves that '3' were charging £14 odd to unlock their phones. I've been told it's the £14 odd when the pac has been used, otherwise it's £45 ! I've given my pac to Vodafone but think I have to 'activate' it but pressing ~100~ or something - and I can't as the phone is still locked. So I have to pay '3' £45 to unlock it !!! Any suggestions ?

If thats the case then buy a cheap pay as you go phone and do it. this will work out cheaper and you have a back up phone just in case.

I cancelled my Mix and Match500 contract on 16th June and received my PAC within an hour. Having read on here that I'd receive a call from a special department at Three with a 'one off never to be repeated offer' I awaited the call with anticipation.
Then last week I started to notice a lot of missed calls but no voicemail (at least once a day, I'm unable to answer during the daytime) from what looked like a Three number. I did manage to answer on Friday afternoon but wasn't able to speak for long as I wanted to be at home with pen and paper etc, so asked if they would call back later, they agreed and didn't seem a problem... may have been a mistake as I'm still waiting, no call back... anybody know what their 'drill' is, do they keep calling or was that my one and only chance to speak to the 'special department' any advice appreciated, this place is a mine of information

Out of interest would anyone know what I may be offered as an incentive to stay with Three, already been offered the £10 one off payment and then the £5 per month for life of contract discount before getting my PAC. I was paying £27 for M&M500 with an N95 8GB, around 11months left on contract.

    ^BUMP^
I'm a little concerned 3 have forgotten about me as they've not been in touch... I've got 8 days before my PAC runs out, should I just go with Vodafone Sim Only package... anyone else in the same boat as me, have Three finally realised they've dropped one, so many questions:confused:

Make sure you use your pac !!!

If you dont you will not beable to cancel again as your notice period will be over. And you will get full early termination charges.

    Nope just says

"Thanks for using 3. We closed your account on 17 June 2009. Thank you for paying by Direct Debit. We'll take payment from your account around the 09 July 2009."

But natwest online says that the DD has been cancelled.
