Nope just says
"Thanks for using 3. We closed your account on 17 June 2009. Thank you for paying by Direct Debit. We'll take payment from your account around the 09 July 2009."
But natwest online says that the DD has been cancelled.
Exactly the same scenario here. Mines due to be taken tomorrow. Guess we'll see what happens then! :huh:0 -
In that case I've no idea sorry. Must have changed since I last did this.0

Got a shock tonight. After cancelling with no cancellation charge due to 3 like home; I have received a bill for over £100 cancellation charges.
Beware all (I am now challenging Exec Office over this!!)
Any advice would be welcome.0 -

I can only think initially that they've got their wires crossed and assumed you cancelled outside of a 30 day window.
I would have thought a simple letter to the executive office would suffice.
Something to the tune of "I rang on X to cancel my account due to the withdrawal of 3LH and my request was accepted and I was informed that I would not be charged a termination fee. I fail to see how 3 can now decide they want a termination fee when your own terms and conditions allow me to cancel without a fee, and you also advised us as customers we could cancel with no fee. Please confirm your stance on this".
Something along those lines ..0 -

Email gone off just now! Had my final bill last month, then this one landed out of the blue - DD is all cancelled. PAC is used. Will update of Exec Offices response when it arrives.0 -

Don't worry about your credit rating.
Loans and debts got this country in the mess it is at the moment anyway.0 -

Hopefully you've kept the final bill because if they try and get funny about it, you can just slide that under their nose and tell them they can't cancel the account, send you a final bill and then suddenly think "Oh, hang on a minute ...."
Good luck0
