Let us know how you get on matey, don't want a strike against my credit record!
I don't think I've paid them anything since the end of May either?
Well I've checked with my Natwest online banking this morning and nothings there relating to 3. DD is still cancelled. I've phoned Natwest and she told me that they haven't attempted to take payment either.
My last payment was 26th May. My hubby did make a point that it says on or around the 8th July so I reckon I'm gonna leave it til Friday and if they haven't taken it or sent a letter then I'll give them a call.
I'm not gonna worry too much about a bad credit rating just yet as natwest have confirmed twice now that the DD was cancelled by 3. So it's not like we've been awkward.0 -

Good luck
I have kept the bill ! I have had a nagging doubt about this all along!!!0 -
Update:
Exec office just put auto reply on my email and forwarded it to CS. Bizarrely, the auto-reply didn't do anything til 9am this morning, despite the email being sent at 10.30pm last night:mad:
Anyone have a more direct email addy as I really don't want to deal with Customer Services - for all the reasons in the previous 30 odd pages!0 -

Beware all (I am now challenging Exec Office over this!!)
Any advice would be welcome.
Thats worrying, when did you actually phone to cancel and what date did your contract actually end, did you confirm that there would be no cancellation charge at the time.
I wonder if anyone else who cancelled has had the same thing happen
I found this on the 3 website help pages, maybe of help when arguing your case:
"We charge line rental in advance, so for example in April’s bill you would pay line rental for May. If you leave 3, all charges are adjusted for your last bill so you don’t pay for anything extra. However depending on the date of your cancellation, you could end up with a credit balance on your final bill. If this happens, just call us with your bill details and we’ll check everything to see if we need to give you a refund. The number you need is 08707 330 333 (charged at standard rate)."
Sorry I couldn't post the link.0 -

Cancelled 19th May - contract closed when I used pac on 28th May. Confirmed no charge over the phone. Bizarrely, my wifes contract has not had this additional bill when cancelled for the same reasons!0 -

Was your wifes contract cancelled on the same day(19th May) maybe that has caused a mix up somewhere.0 -

The amount they have asked for does not equate to the full line rental, so I am not sure what the charge is for.
Has anyone else who cancelled under change of terms for 3 like home experienced this?0 -

Have you heard anything back from 3, I know phoning them is an ordeal but you may be lucky and get to speak to someone half decent at billing and get them to explain, I see you phoned to cancel on the 19th of May, and used your PAC code on the 29th, could the extra be due to the balance of the 30 days notice or something similar?0
