stick with it and you will get a few more quid off...u might get it down to around £15!!It's a great day for singing a song / It's a great day for moving along / It's a great day for morning to night / It's a great day for everybody's plight.
Your father pedals car telephones at a 300 percent markup. Your mother works on heavy commission at a camera store. Graduated to it from espresso machines. Hah!0 -
I've tried to cancel but been told that I am 2 days outside of 30 days of receipt of the text and therefore have to pay early settlement to cancel. With an impending euro bike tour, even though I havent previously used servic, the changes are to my detriment. So even thought they say I am 2 days late is that really game over!!0

Yes it is.
While people have been getting out of the contract using the terms and C's, the T&C's state that you have to inform them if wishing to leave due to a change of terms within 30 days of that change.
As the texts had been sent out 15th 16th 17th of last month, now it is too late.. You have now accepted the change.0 -
Just tried to cancel and been offered for £19.81 a month - 1100 mix and match with 2000 texts and a new phone!
Do you think I'd get anything near this elsewhere??
Was so set on cancelling but I do have a high use each month and now wondering whether I'd be cutting my nose off by moving!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
I got my mix an match 1100 down to £12.99 - though that was without extra texts.

I received my text message on 28th May, so it should still be do-able

The change only comes in on the 30th June
You have to inform them within 30 days of being told of the change and on one of my accounts I haven't been told yet so how does that apply?0 -

I received my texts on 20th May and cancelled 3 contracts today.
I genuinely did renew my contracts because of '3 like home' and have used it before so I wasn't just using this as an excuse - it still took me 3 calls of 40+ minutes each to get my PAC codes though
They initially called me a liar and said that they never sent me a text so I would have to pay for the remaining months of my contract. Eventually they conceeded that they had sent me the text and agreed that they would cancel for free and I got my PAC codes by text within seconds. I don't trust 3 one bit now though - there is no fear of my final bill including 16 months of monthly payments is there???0 -
I've had my final bill through no problem. If you really wanted to you could call them back and check there's no ETF on the account, thats what I did.0
