I was beginning to feel left out as I hadn't recieved a call from 3 offering me a better deal...and I just got one!
They offered me 300 mins and 1000 texts for £9.79, incl. internet, keeping my INQ1. This is probably a pretty good deal, better than what I've moved to (Virgin £18 250 mins unlimited texts unlimited data Nokia 5800) BUT I detest the INQ1 and can't bear to deal with 3 any more, so turned it down.
So, like people before me have said, it maybe is worth cancelling and getting your PAC - don't use it for a week or ao, and they will offer you a good deal. It's a case of pros vs cons though, and tbh the cons won out0 -
Got my 4 PACs last nite and 3 are only after ringing me...have offered sony erik g502..same mins etc as b4 ..ie 750mins 150 txts £5 download but have dropped monthly cost from £26 down to £14.68 !!! Should i stay or should i go?? Is the sony fone any good??
thanksIt's a great day for singing a song / It's a great day for moving along / It's a great day for morning to night / It's a great day for everybody's plight.

"Porting Authorisation Code" - you need it if you want to keep your number when moving network. AFAIK you have no need for it if you don't want to keep your number - I've certainly never had one before, as I've never kept a number when moving networks. This time however I plan to keep my number. With 3, if you don't use it within 30 days of it being issued, then your contract won't end and they'll keep billing you.0 -

Had a long phone call was told I could get pac right away but kept putting me on hold and asking me why I wanted it, said about Vodafone and she claims that Vodafone do no such deal they just give free internet and 3 does the same I had to repeat this countless times for about 30 minutes and eventually she says "ok I'll send you Pac now, you will recieve it within 2 hours" then "please hold whilst I speak to a manager"
Still on hold 15 minutes later.0 -

Just tried to cancel and been offered for £19.81 a month - 1100 mix and match with 2000 texts and a new phone!
Do you think I'd get anything near this elsewhere??
Was so set on cancelling but I do have a high use each month and now wondering whether I'd be cutting my nose off by moving!
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!0
