    Just a quick additional note

Even if you are happy with your Three contract give them a ring and complain about the removal of the 3LH they offered me £10 good will straight away with out being prompted.

Well 41 mins and got my PAC, tried to give me £10 for the inconvenience of losing 3LH, but I stuck to my guns of repeating the line in the text....

"Finally because of the 3 Like Home change, it's only fair that we point out your right to end your contract with us,
without paying an early cancellation fee".

Just hope there is no stupidness with my final bill now.

Thanks for help in getting this sorted;)

i actually think that's good advice for 3 customers who are happy and don't want to change.

if you get a strong 3G reception wherever you might live and are happy with the service then why not stick with them? £10 for your troubles would just be the icing on the cake.

^ the problem is, you never know when you call 3 if you will get a monkey, a part educated monkey or the rare uni educated employee, regardless the protocol handed to such staff from 3UK are to blame for 50% of it.

Those that are happy with 3 are a rarity.....i gave 6 years to them, rarely was I happy with customer service.

I've spoke to 3 who claim I will have to pay the remainder of my contract which finishes in Oct. Thats £40 x 4=£160. I used 3LH quite a bit in Oz so i am going to be out of pocket with it going.
Are they just fobbing me off to stay a few more months?

they are fobbing you off. Call them back, quote the detrimental change, just be nice and they will sort you out.

Yeah, you have to be civil towards them as much as you might not want to - they're trained to deal with people who get angry at them.

Tell them that the text message that was sent round entitles you to cancel and under the T's & C's you are entitled to cancel and just stick to your guns.

They told my friend he'd have to pay up the remaining 7 months of his contract but he kept at it and they agreed he was in the right and cancelled.
